    Forza Horizon 4: General Discussion

I realised I just lacked the contents of the backstage pass shop, a handful of Autoshow cars, plus the Cougar and the Capri FE, so I finished off my collection this weekend (minus four preorder cars). Now I've got a few months to play other games before starting again with an empty garage in Mexico.

Forzathon Shop - This Week's Offers (previously Daily Bargains!

It's happened at least once before in the year or so I've owned the game, I remember it last August.

    [Mod] Gran Turismo 2.1

It's not necessarily as simple as that - the DTM car doesn't match any of the Supertouring liveries, it's purely fictional. The RM is fairly accurate to the DTM livery, but there were several Supertouring 155s that ran in a similar livery, like the French 1993 car and the 1995 JTCC car. Rather...

[Mod] Gran Turismo 2 plus (bug fixes, restored content and new content)

Exactly that, yes - the US version has two duplicates of the 2000GT, one of which is hidden. I've swapped the two around to match the other regions, and so that I can get rid of the duplicate to make space for new content. The original and duplicate don't always show up at the same time in the...

    Forza Horizon 4: General Discussion

Also worth noting for when your garage is more full - buying a car in a different standard colour from the showroom doesn't count as a custom livery, whereas buying it from the auction house then repainting it does. There's still a limit of 500 custom liveries in place, despite a garage size of...

    Forza Horizon 4: General Discussion

Perhaps the Backstage Pass system was intended for this purpose - the final series could just be a repeating one that awards Passes, and locked cars keep going up for voting every week until they're all in there. That, or the new player has missed out and are expected to buy FH5.

[Mod] Gran Turismo 2 plus (bug fixes, restored content and new content)

Thanks for the offer - I'll have a look and see what needs doing. I have no plans to start another mod, this one alone takes much more time than I have to spare. All of the tools are available if you wanted to tweak events for your own mod though.

[Mod] Gran Turismo 2 plus (bug fixes, restored content and new content)

Yep, I'm not much of an artist so the art changes aren't as complete as I'd like so far. Menu backgrounds are a pain, and I'm deferring big changes to dealerships and banners because I'm eventually planning to switch the car names over to the accurate Japanese names, which will take a fair bit...

Do you think PD is biased towards Japanese cars?

I suspect you're over-thinking this a lot - it will be a simple typo somewhere in the physics data. So many of the other quirks and bugs in the data throughout the GT series are as basic as that, a tiny mistake that wasn't spotted before release. They're not even minor things either - in GT2...

[Mod] Gran Turismo 2 plus (bug fixes, restored content and new content)

The general modding thread is probably a better place for questions, but GT2TextureEditor is the tool for car texture work, and you'll probably want GT2CarViewer to see how the textures look when applied to a model. Each car's texture is completely independent to any other, to the point where...

Do you think PD is biased towards Japanese cars?

The weight for the Storm is the manufacturer-provided figure from GT2. The mistake was that they switched from the roadcar to the racecar in GT3 and didn't change the weight. The XJ220 LM is a fictional car, and it's not like there's a history of the LM Edition cars being anything like real...

    Touring Arese RH95 2021

488s will be cheaper second-hand to rebody though, in the same way that the Aero 3 is based on the F12, not the 812. The 720ps / 710bhp engine spec is the same between the 488 Pista and F8, but that's probably not relevant as Touring's own website states 670ps.

Codes should work the same, just be aware that for the US and Japanese versions you'll need codes for the final releases of each (1.2 and 1.1 respectively). Part codes for 'hybridding' may be different too. Just a few posts up is a quote of a post from earlier in the thread with a savegame that...

Forza Horizon 4 Season Change: Muscular Spring Grand Tour

I just used the Maverick myself, and did the buggy seasonal championship to accrue the 10 miles. That seasonal is basically 15 minutes of full throttle and steering in the Maverick, I could count the number of braking points on one hand.

Forza Motorsport to Feature Brand New Tire Model, Tire Compounds

To be honest, those numbers are just catching up with what other games have been doing on the XB1, as far as I am aware. The main physics engine has been running at at least 360Hz since FM2 on the 360, this just sounds like they're no longer skipping the tyre model 80% of the time.

    Forza Horizon 4: General Discussion

The Artega was actually first shown a year before the Evora was. The S1 isn't a knock-off so much as a rework - I believe Saleen bought the rights to the design legitimately.

[Mod] Gran Turismo 2 plus (bug fixes, restored content and new content)

The regional renaming is a complete mess in GT2, so I've not tackled oddities like this because eventually I'd like to remove it all entirely. The car is a 180SX Type X '94, there wasn't a 2-litre version of the S13 200SX or 240SX anyway, never mind which particular year PD put on their...

[Mod] Gran Turismo 2 plus (bug fixes, restored content and new content)

The power levels are 680ps for the 1997-spec cars, and 712ps for the 1999-spec cars, that R33 being 1999-spec. I presume it's done on purpose, as the '96 Supra makes slightly less power than the '99-spec cars too. I'd guess that it's to reflect the development of the cars over time, and to...

Forza Horizon 4 Season Change: Resting Up For Autumn

At the very least, the first time a new car is added, it's never locked behind the Trial event. Of course, if a player wasn't playing the game that week, then that doesn't matter, but there's at least one guaranteed opportunity given to win the new content playing solo. The intention of the...
