    Preferred cars?

The Ferrari seems easy to drive comparatively quickly. I'm still testing cars on various tracks, and after pushing hard for multiple laps in other cars, I can usually go right in and set a similar or faster time in the Ferrari on the first or second lap. I don't really want to drive what...

PS4 Ghost of Tsushima - New IP from Sucker Punch

Really looking forward to this, even if it looks like it's borrowing quite liberally from Assassin's Creed (might turn out feeling quite different).

    1st gear in tight corners?

Pretty much every single sim and casual racing game I've played for the last 20 years seemed to treat 1st gear as something you would only really need when launching, but it feels like many or most of the cars in ACC are set up (still using default setups, never a part of sims I enjoyed...

    Preferred cars?

Not a setting most players would be aware of, unless they read these forums or follow the real series very closely, I would imagine. Even if you know the wheel rotation for every car, it's any case silly to have to go into the general options to change wheel rotation every time you want to drive...

Assetto Corsa Competizione Coming to PS4 and XB1, Arrives June 23

Runs better, definitely. But looks better?! The visuals of ACC - even on my base PS4 - are significantly more advanced than AC, lighting and reflections in particular as obvious standouts.

Assetto Corsa Competizione Coming to PS4 and XB1, Arrives June 23

Well, I don't disagree with you in your assessment of those games :) (except that while AC does look "crisp and clean", I do feel it looks much more basic than the other mentioned games, as well as compared to ACC). Personally I feel AC Competizione looks about on par with Project Cars 2, but...

Assetto Corsa Competizione Coming to PS4 and XB1, Arrives June 23

Have you looked at a PS3 game lately? 30 fps aside, I loaded up the original PS4 Assetto Corsa to do a quick physics comparison, and ACC looks vastly better, particularly lighting. Sure, it's no match for GT Sport or the six(?) years old DriveClub (the latter is still a marvel of technology)...

Assetto Corsa Competizione Coming to PS4 and XB1, Arrives June 23

Just tried a race in storm conditions, surprisingly the framerate doesn't seem to suffer (more than it already is on occasion). The AI seemed stupidly slow in the wet though - I'm not a fast driver at all, trying some single races to find a good difficulty setting for career mode (80 in the dry...

Assetto Corsa Competizione Coming to PS4 and XB1, Arrives June 23

Yep, it seems like that view in particular might have more problems maintaining 30 fps.

Assetto Corsa Competizione Coming to PS4 and XB1, Arrives June 23

Probably most likely to be down to differences in people's ability to tolerate 30 fps. I can get used to it in this game, but it definitely doesn't - even when I don't think there are actual frame drops - look as smooth to me as DriveClub (another 30 fps game). Maybe it's down to minor fps...

    First Reviews coming in...

Well, after the first practice and custom racing sessions - the 30 fps framerate is definitely more visible (ie. perceiving it as less smooth) than in DriveClub, and likely will be a problem that's hard to ignore for some people. I think I can get used to it though. Engine sounds are awesome...

Assetto Corsa Competizione Coming to PS4 and XB1, Arrives June 23

It finally showed up for me on the EU PS store, although I had to search for it and initially - 15 minutes ago - it only showed up as an "overview" with no purchase button. I'm downloading it now. Surprised at the low price, hopefully not a bad omen.

Anyone Know Will ACC Go on sale for PS4 Tonight @ Midnight?(Or a Timezone)

Not here. Midnight is when the store updates with new games.

Anyone Know Will ACC Go on sale for PS4 Tonight @ Midnight?(Or a Timezone)

That is not how it actually works. Midnight, on the dot, pretty much every single time. I only remember a few exceptions.

Anyone Know Will ACC Go on sale for PS4 Tonight @ Midnight?(Or a Timezone)

Midnight here, not available on the PS store. This is exceptionally rare - I buy all my games digitally, often at release, whether or not they were available for pre-order, and almost every game I've bought in the five years I've had my PS4 has been available from midnight.

More Assetto Corsa Competizione Console Gameplay Video: Direct Capture PS4 Pro

Looking a bit more promising now. Not sure yet how I'm going to feel about 30 fps - DriveClub is still one of my favourite PS4 games and I've been playing it a lot again lately, perfectly fine at 30 fps (even with a wheel on "hardcore" mode), but a 30 fps rally game a few years ago (Sebastien...

When are you planning to buy Xbox Series X and PS5?

Depends on the launch games and what's coming in the months after. But I'll probably buy a PS5 in the first half of 2021 (assuming launch at the end of this year).

Assetto Corsa Competizione Now Available to Preorder on Console

I've always found the driving feel (Thrustmaster T150) and experience to be significantly better in AC than in PC2, and if I'm hotlapping it's no contest at all - I'll just pick AC despite the smaller track list. However on the PS4 Project Cars 2 is certainly a much more comprehensive racing...

Driveclub is the Most-Played PS4 Driving Title with Estimated 10.5 Million Players

Whenever I fire up DriveClub every couple of months I'm in awe of just how much fun this game was - still is - and how good it looks. I've been doing some Norway point-to-point races in storm and heavy rain, corner markers and UI turned off, hardcore handling (which certainly doesn't turn it...

    Spintires: Mudrunner/snowrunner

I didn't play Mudrunner but decided to buy Snowrunner for PS4 after randomly coming across it on YouTube. The total lack of recognition of my wheel (Thrustmaster T150) was rather disappointing, but after playing for about an hour and a half I'm actually fine with playing it on a controller so...
