Heres my Supra MKIII setup.

Power output : approx 389hp.
Torque : 453nm

All driving assists off (of course), comfort hard tires.

Little description of handling characteristics : Handles pretty good, makes lots of smoke and can drift even on 5th gear.

Heres is my setup for honda s2000 (06) can get it through the dealership new cars.

Finished spec's Power-370bhp, weight-1060kg

Parts needed - Engine Stage3, Sports ECU, Sports Intake Manifold, Racing Air Filter, Sports exhaust manifold, Cata converter, Titanium Racing Exhaust, TurboS2(Mid Rpm), Full transmission, Twin Clutch, Racing Flywheel, Full custom LSD, Prop shaft, Fully custom suspension, tyres Comfort hard, rigidity improvement, window weight, bonnet replace, S3 weight reduction, aero wing(GT AUTO).


Tuning Setup

Aerodynamics - r8
Transmission - m/speed 149mph (This is just preference not needed)
Drivetrain - LSD, Torque=19, Acc=38, Braking=25
Suspension - Height F=-15 R=-15, Spring rate F=7.8 R=7.3, Dampers (EXT) F=5 R=5, Dampers (COMP) F=6 R=7, Roll bars F=3 R=4
Braking - F=4 R=7 (can be changed depending on how you like to initiate drift.
Canber F=6 R=5 Toe angle 0.20 0.20

This is a good all rounder drift car, it can hit silly angles and just hold it without the feeling its about to do a 180. Long corners can be done in 3rd max rpm, tight corners feather 2nd gear. The car has quite abit of power but i think it will be fine for beginners too. Some good tracks to test it out on Sazuka east and tskuba these are the ones i tuned it on. 15k top score on sazuka mini so far :) Enjoy!
 
I know my setups are far from perfect (personal taste is a big factor, though) and I'd like to improve them so any feedback would be appreciated.

Gotta get my hands on a Volvo 240... :D

Here is another tune, its for the Corvette Z06 (CS) 04' you can buy it from the new dealerships.

Just a warning! this setup has alot of power & torque and you should probably shouldn't use it for a first drift car heh, it takes a little getting use to aswell my first 10 test laps i thought i completly screwed the setting it was just infact really hard to drive lol but it's fairly tame now. :)

Upgrades needed -

GT auto - Oil change, Front aero, rear aero, minor wing.. the other wing was too ugly :]
Shop - Weight reduction S3( dont understand how this is possible corvette is built from plastic anyway), Rigidty Improvement, Bonnet (Your choice), Window reduction. Engine S1, Sports ECU chip. Intake Manifold, Racing Air filter. Titanium Exhaust, Cata converter, exhaust manifold. Custom Transmission. Twin plate Clutch, s-racing flywheel, Fully custom LSD, prop shaft. Fully custom suspension. Medium Comfort tyres(Usually use hard, but it has so much torque you really dont need the hard tyres to lose grip).

Tuning setup -
Aero F - 0 R - 10
Transmission - M/speed 224mph
Drive LSD - Torque - 25 Accel - 35 Braking - 20
Suspension - Ride height F/R - -15 Spring rate F - 7.5 R - 9.5
Dampers (EXT) F - 5 R - 6
Dampers (Comp) F - 4 R - 5
Anti Roll bars - F - 4 R - 5
Wheel allignment - Camber F - 2.0 R - 0.5
Toe angle F - -0.20 R - 0.05

Final stats - Power 557bhp Torque 5200 Weight 1172kg

Description: Car is easy to initiate into a drift and very stable around the corner, can pretty much have it sideways without spinning. Only difficulty i'm having is keeping it stable coming out of the corner as I tend to sway from side to side straighten the car up but with practice and tweaks i'm sure i can perfect it.
Tested and tuned on the TSUKUBA CIRCUIT.

Description: This truck is really easy to drift i would definitely recommend this for anyone beginning to drift. Although a bit pricey due to having to get its weight down from 2 tonnes.

could anyone give me drift settings for a Nissan Skyline 350GT sedan type SP?

from basic fundamentals, i end up spinning out easily after the first corner :/
 
Here's my tune for the Toyota FT-86 Concept '09. This setup is with the control pad.
UPDATE: According to the prize list, this car is won in the FR challenge in the beginner A-spec races.

Power after mods:368bhp
weight:930kg with stage 1 and windows weight reduction. (weight reduction is optional,the original weight is still fine)

what to buy

-stage 1 weight reduction (you can go stage 2 or 3 if you prefer,depends on your drift preference, I was happy with only stage 1 so I didn't go any more).

All other driving aids off, especially traction control. Its usually on by default so remember to turn it off.

The reason why I chose this as a drifter is because of the good power to weight ratio, at under a tonne that's pretty damn good for an FR. Also it still has a little room to increase some more HP with a stage 3 if you feel you want a little more power. Good luck, I hope this car makes drifting easier for you as it has for me.

Here's my tune for the FT-86 Concept '09 which I currently drift in. This car is a prize car you win, sorry I cant remember where I won it but it was obtained fairly early into the game.

i believe you win it after the FR races? or it might have been the clubman series. can't remember but i just won it as well! thanks for the settings, shall try it out when i get home.

*Since this was a racecar, it had come with basically all the upgrades already*
add anythign that's missing, and use a Mid Range Turbo and Comfort:HARD tires.

i think you should be able to set up any NSX using these settings or close to them, just get all the upgrades possible

if anyone has some suggestions to make it better let me know, it seems to be good now, its easy to get it to drift and easy to control, i'm a novice at both tuning and drifting but i'm pretty happy with it thou

I've tried to adapt transfer these settings to the Spirit R Type A FD since there seems to be a lot of requests for drift tunes for this model. Understandable, considering that it' premium so you can have the eye candy like wheels, carbon hood etc. as well as a great drifter.

Carrying out the same mods as above will get you slightly improved performance figures from the newer model:

346HP & 1163Kg


I found these settings, left untouched, were pretty good but maybe a little erratic and the tyre choice of Front Sport Soft is a little too eager to "catch" on the weight transfer as your tail comes back around and wants to spear you off into the opposite direction. A slightly lower grip choice for the front makes it a little more predictable. I opted for Front Sports Hard/Rear Comfort Soft.

I've also made two other small changes:

Differential
Initial: 7
Accel: 40
Braking: 35

Camber
4.0/0.5

Bear in mind that I'm using a DF3 most of the time, but try these settings and let me know how you find them. Thanks to jtg91 for the bulk of the settings.

A very useful thread! Would love to get the drift settings for the 98' Sileighty if anyone's got it please ;)

I'm actually working on that next, got it sitting in my garage half tuned. Going to be taking it through it's paces for the next couple of day's and see what I can come up with. If no one else has posted anything within the week I'll put mine up.

Also if it's very similar to the 240SX I was playing with earlier, which I'm sure it will be. It's going to make a really nice drifter. You will have no problem getting the back end out on this car. Maybe it was because I did a stage 3 engine tune on it? ;)

I will try these settings when i get home, thanks for the tips as i said im pretty new to this so i kinda just had a stab in the dark lol

The tires i chose as i read somewhere you should choose the most gripiest front tires possible with the car still being able to slide. I will definelty give the tire setup you suggested a go. once again thanks for the tips
