Yeah, I'm an Initial Drifter, as well, so that's what I tune for when setting up a car for drifting. My Ram settings are awesome for that. I'll have turn on my PS2 sometime and try out these Element settings.

Trial mountain is where its best I found. Im trying to bang out a few dings still on tracks without hills. It doesnt seem to want to drift on flat tracks (atleast for me)

Ive taken it there. Im trying to set it up on my B set to get it more versatile. Its weird that on some tracks it drifts awesome on others it understeers like a Civic

I drifted a little bit earlier on Tsukuba with some minor adjustments and the ASM Understeer on and it drifted pretty well.

A couple images from my session:

I made a new setup that drifts like another game. The game I used to play befor my X-console broke, the other driving sim. You dont have to worry about shifting the weight of the car befor every drift with this setup.

The rest of the post is updated 7/13/11

This setup works on the HKS GENKI HYPER SILVIA RS2 D1GP 2004. Everything but the gears will work on the BLITZ ER34 D1GP 2004. The Er34's gear ratio is under the rest of there setups.

Its about 350,000 credits for every upgrade. Get every upgrade to get the most out of the car. If your short on cash make sure you get the LSD and tranny FULLY upgraded on either car. You can also use the toyota credit truckd, I do.

THIS TUNE IS CURRENT AS OF 7/13/11

Tires:

Front and rear: N1

Driving aids:

NONE

Suspension:

Spring rate: 11.9 - 13.4
Ride height: 85 - 85
Shock bound: 6 - 6
Shock rebound: 8 - 8
Camber angle: 2.0 - 2.5
Toe: 0 - 0
Stabilizers: 6 - 6

Gears (for the HKS SILVIA):

Auto: 6
Final: 4.762
1st: 2.608
2nd: 1.792
3rd: 1.318
4th: 1.120
5th: 0.954

Downforce:

Remove as much as possible from both front and rear.

LSD:

Initial torque: 50
LSA: 50
LSD: 20

Weight balance:

Ballast weight: 0
Front/rear balance: 0

The BLITZ ER34 D1GP 2004 gear ratios are:

Auto: 9
Final: 4.484
1st: 2.698
2nd: 1.772
3rd: 1.467
4th: 1.211
5th: 0.960
6th: 0.798

For best results do everything listed, all upgrades on both cars and use these gears. If I didnt mention it in the setup then dont change it, everything thing else was changed for a reason.

If you played FM3 then drift like you would on that game, without shifting weight. Start the drift with the e-brake or giving it lots of gas. I also run manual and shift gears up and down mid drift when I need to. I dont know how it will drift in auto.

This setup works really good on the section after the long straight on Special stage route 5. And it was tuned on Trial Mountain.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING

If you make any improvments to the setup then please post it and let everyone know, Its already a great setup.

Hey does anyone drift the Option Stream Z here? I do but i never see anyone drifting it. I guess its because of the severe turbo lag! Lol. If u do decide to drift it reduce the aerodynamics in the back and put a mid range turbo on and i find it helps a little if u detune the car to about 550hp. It gets rid of SOME turbo lag(only some lol) my psn is ERC-HKS_TURBO_

The handling can be mastered with a little practice, and when you've done that, it becomes a very fun and at the same time challenging way to drift.:dopey:

Nice setup, but this is probably for GT5. This is a GT4 drift settings depot.

For the Viper SRT10, what would I need to do when I'm churning out 984bhp?
With wide variety of mods.

I'll provide a detailed list later.
