Just confirmed you only need two copies of the game to run triple monitors. As long as one of them is digital.

You're allowed to have two PS3's active for a given PSN ID. I installed GT6 on my second PS3 under my main account and bought a second copy of GT6 on my secondary account and third PS3 and installed it. Fired it up and voila, triple screens working 👍 You don't even need to be signed in on the other accounts, just cancel the sign in message when GT6 launches.

How do you output to the 3rd screen? Dual out from the 2nd PS3?

Sorry, but...

Prize A has been selected - Renault Sport Clio V6 24V '00 | 434PP | 261 HP | SH @ Ascari Full Track
Prize B - pending
Prize C - Selected to freeze the car, Red Bull Junior

ALSO:

I'm just booting up GT6 and got an update notification. Anyone know what this one is for?

HEY NOW!! i can read, and know what was voted on! the question was if anyone with the power to make the changes has come to a decision.
Thanks for the fish

@JLBowler

Can you please illustrate/clarify the in bounds / out of bounds at Ascari?

I ran a couple laps, and if we are strict on using the white lines as the boundaries to keep two tires inbounds - as we usually are - I am betting the chicanes may collect a record number of penalties, particularly the last chicane (going slightly uphill and into the left hand tight sweeper).

Just sayin... Unless the beige areas at the chicanes become inbounds, Stewards will be busy.

Those avoidable (go slow) penalties are a point-a-pop for not staying in the track boundaries. Racers should not expect other cars to blow through the beige areas and use that expectation to excuse their collision with the car ahead of them.

its a ok car I like it and the track its on is going to make some good racing lot of passing room but for tight packs its going to be fun, some turns that feel loose but practice what makes perfect, but it will be easy to mess up on some corners

Sorry for double! - saw someone had liked something and thought they had responded.

I will have to try this combo again tomorrow. I can tell I am not in SNAIL spirit, so I will refrain from sarcasm or chicken-little comments that come to mind. I really think the problem is me, and not you. No, we are not breaking up, I just need a rest from... Me? I am going to bed early.

I think you're probably right, @Handlebar. Since some SNAIL members don't read the thread very often, maybe @JLBowler should write a script for the division hosts to read before the combo, reminding everyone that the white line is the boundary.

Personally, I like the layout this way. It's very easy to accidentally miss part of a chicane, but if the beige areas are in-bound, they become almost irrelevant, and the left-hander after the back chicane gets...tricky.

Edit: The script could be simple. "The white lines and everything inside of them are track. Everything else, including the beige chicanes and gray rumble strips are not. Two wheels must be in contact with the track at all times." Or, something along those lines. Absent such a warning in the actual division rooms, I have a suspicion that a lot of people will claim ignorance.

@CodDemon101,
Thanks for your interest!
We would love to have you in the league. Here's what you need to know and do in order to join:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the S.N.A.I.L. OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide.
Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You take the S.N.A.I.L. OLR and Racecraft Test

2. You run the Time Trial and submit your information by 23:59 EST on Saturday night if you want to race this Sunday.

3. @JLBowler PM's you with your assigned Division that we feel will give you the closest competition. You will be added to the drivers list.

4. The Race Director or Primary Host from the corresponding SNAIL Division will send you a PSN friend request. Sunday night you will need to sort the online lobbies by friends and join the lobby named 'snailracing.org Division_(x) based off your Division placement from JLBowler. That lobby will be where you race Sunday.

5. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

The original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.

If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.
To avoid duplication, the currently claimed combinations can be found here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.

Welcome to S.N.A.I.L.
I have done it:) haha I bet I was slow felt pretty good though:)

Can anyone tell me if the three monitors include the two side views that you normally see when you press your particular assigned button to look out your left or right window?

Not sure if it's exactly what you see when you do that, but I've found the field of view is greater.

I'm not much of a Granturismo photographer but I think this ones just came out nice...

Here I'm basically saying "bye bye" to Intoflatlines because with a couple corners left to finish the race, I didn't think I was gonna get him... And I didn't!

I apologize for not coming to the racing on Sunday, I hope if I can still join this group and not have any trouble. Will there be a next racing in the future? If so, I wish the leader would add me so that the leader will invite to the game, You have said that I am invited. But I do wish to add the leader.

sorry there is only two races. Ill do more throughout the week.

I've decided the Red Bull will be racing at Autumn Ring this week.

I also considered Madrid reverse and Matterhorn Rifflewhatsit. As much as I enjoyed running the car on those more technical tracks, I just couldn't bring myself to subject the league to it. Have a go with the redbull at that particular Matterhorn config though, its a lot of fun in a very frightening way ;)

Oh also, D1 data entry is complete.
