Our Division had a break down in Data recording and reporting, completely. A demonstration to all Divisions why it is important for ALL Members of the League to "Ask not what SNAIL can do for you, Ask what you can do.....".

Volunteer to do what you are capable of doing.
Great Leagues (no matter the sport/event) are only as strong as the Member Involvement.

@TEX36 ...see the conversation thread... I volunteered for Data Specialist... let's see if you can actually teach an old dog new tricks

Just want to chime in about last week's combos. Lots of fun!

I enjoyed a challenging standing start at Daytona. It makes things interesting when you aren't guaranteed your qualifying spot leading into turn 1. There were a few different lines through turns but they all seemed to even out midway down the straights. Late braking was very risky and playing it safe didn't necessarily mean you'd be passed by someone on the straight.

Cape Ring was tricky. I had trouble figuring out the fast way around the ring but I managed to hold my position every lap. The first jump removes a passing opportunity which sucks but its the second jump before the left/right kink you need to worry about...in fact, if you do jump it, it means you're about to crash! I found a pace I could run the entire race but others pushed it a little too much. I wasn't able to challenge anyone but I at least moved up a few positions when others made mistakes.

Monza was a white knuckle experience. I probably should have tinkered with the brake balance because I kept kicking out the rear on turn 4. I locked them up by accident going into turn 1 once but luckily avoided an incident. After that I just played it safe but it was still very intense trying to stay on someone's bumper! Not sure which Monza track I like the most. They both have their challenges.

I concur! You did an awesome job driving defensively at Cape Ring. I couldn't find a way around you in the first race, so I dropped back and hoped you'd make a mistake. You never did though!

Yeah, I ran into that on race 2. JWalker and Kgffy were battling it out in front of me but I couldn't get in on the action. Meanwhile Qwietstorm was about a car length back the whole time so I didn't want to give him any track to work with. Sweaty palms after those races for sure!

Others have given the answers, but since I was tagged into this, the directors doc has the current scores. The results doc will be updated shortly. What does shortly mean? After D4 gets their scores and votes put in.

If you just want to know the D7 scores, here is what the directors doc has:

@zer05ive

I was hoping someone would pick something that I could put a number on. I will be changing up my color and number for this one week to pay tribute to one of the best pure hitters in the history of baseball.

Tony Gwynn passed away yesterday and will be greatly missed by the baseball community, the San Diego Padres, San Diego State University, and any person who ever came in contact with the man.

I will be running a brown car with orange wheels and it will wear the number 19 just for this combination.

If you don't know anything about Gwynn, take a minute and do a google search and read a couple of articles.
