On another note, any SNAILs planning to run the Manufacturer's exhibition race tomorrow?
Maybe, did not plan it but I may give it a shot if I have time.On another note, any SNAILs planning to run the Manufacturer's exhibition race tomorrow?

Yes. From what I've seen, and the details are a bit on the thin side, it will be a new area/mode in the World Map that offers 50 or so single player races, some of which will be 24 hours, some will have practice/qualify/race sessions, Sophy 3.0 and 5mil credits for an unknown real world sum, dropping into the PS Store on 4 December, 2025 and requiring a PS5 console. The good news with this, at the moment, is no tracks will be behind a paywall. It remains to be seen if there are any cars that will be.Did anybody see the DLC that theyre adding to GT7 in december? The features sound fun but its nothing different than a big update IMHO.
The 'nitrous/overtake' button is critical for this car. 'overtake' (IMHO) applies to a battery that greatly increases power, but it's not a 'nitrous' system, so it's OK. It's not infinite, but seems robust. It is throttle sensitive, ie. it only kicks in when at full throttle. So, any time you are at full bore the 'overtake' button adds an immense amount of power. On my Fanatec CSL Elite wheel I have 'nitrous/overtake' mapped to my L3 button; close to my left thumb and away from my up-shift hand. I only tested against a one design AI race and the advantage down the main straight was epic. Managing boost in the twisties will be interesting.I have been testing combos and with the Corvette CX.R VGT, which has an overtake boost that doesn't seem to classify as nitrous. This boost seems to be infinite, and yields a very high rate of boost. I tried to open a lobby using the SNAIL settings that included prohibiting nitrous, but it still allowed the car to enter the track (it was only me, so i couldn't start a race).
Good job!7P slot, turned out much better than expected or hoped, for a wet Spa.
Did my usual no qualify, start at the back thing;

Kept it steady and only had one OOB penalty I got slowed down for and;

I'll take that! No 9P slot for me.
I plan on joining.Buckle up, we got a beast to try this evening with that VGT Corvette.
Practice lobby open at 9:15pm, first start at 9:30pm, all three combo run twice, half distance and reverse grid for the entire evening.
I'm not want to pity but we were only two last week... pretty boring so, get yourself in and join us!
I dunno 'bout the rest of ya'll, I was launching the 'Vette in 8th with the overtake on. You might be able to launch in 6th or 7th without overtake and maybe not spin those hards off the rims.
That thing is one busy drive. Funnest of the bunch for me though.
Yeah, it does have what appears to be a constant velocity turbo too. Soon as the loud pedal is on the floor, that boost goes to max. Before we started the race I went on track and tested launch gearing and think I roasted tires through at least 6 gears with overtake on.I was short shifting a lot but not try to launch in higher gear. I agree with you, it's a fun car to drive. Very different, more like a toy than a real car but still fun.
