Cool idea to put to use on the Camaro copy-cat, but this thing needs to be put on a SERIOUS diet. 4400 lbs? C'mon man! Chevrolet needs to do the same thing with the Camaro. Big horsepower and sexy exhaust notes are bad ass, but trim the fat a little and these things would be AWESOME! Also, 275s on the rear? 700hp and you only put 275s on the rear?? Really??

Fast means lots of tires smoke and standing still... Right?

Yea, I completely agree. Trim at least 500 lbs. For the tires, with that kind of HP, it needs to have at least 315s. Even my 350z has 265s with 1/3 the HP.

Exactly. Either trim 500 pounds or put it lower in the car and lower the center of gravity and add some 315s and this thing would be unstoppable.

For the past few weeks I was forced to drive automatic as my wheel decided it's time to go. The paddle shifters no longer worked so I was unable to change gears.

I resisted the temptation to buy a G27 but as they say....resistance is futile! I broke down....
I'm buying my G27 tonight on my way home from the office! :gtpflag:

As soon as that car got announced he was like there is my mid life crisis car right there.
The reason is we have had a lot of Dodge's in our family. He drove a 1968 Charger in high school and it was one crazy car with that 383 and drum brakes.

I differ.. if that is the reason why is the MLS grown so rapidly and adding teams (franchises) almost every 2 years ?

If you have no intention to ever run a Sunday night race, you don't have to run the time trial. If all you want to do is run the mid-week stuff, just post in those threads that you want to race and the hosts of those series will take care of you.

Am only 19 so a mid life crisis is out hahah and I wish I had a 68 charger... that's in my top 5 cars of like 1000s and we had ford's all my life but my day to day driver is a mopar, a 84 dodge daytona trubo. It's a sweet little car  but soon, soon I'll have the hellcat :scared:

Yup the Hellcat does need to loose a few then it can really compete.
Ya either way it's a sweet looking car

Also I did research on the car about the specs and I figured out that the two inner lights on the front are actually intakes to the engine.

    @Br1mann

Here's your official S.N.A.I.L. Welcome Post!

    Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the S.N.A.I.L. OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide.
Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

    1. You take the S.N.A.I.L. OLR and Racecraft Test

    2. You run the Time Trial and submit your information by 23:59 EST on Saturday night if you want to race this Sunday.

    3. @JLBowler PM's you with your assigned Division that we feel will give you the closest competition. You will be added to the drivers list.

    4. Send a PSN friend request to the Race Director or Primary Host from your assigned SNAIL Division. Sunday night you will need to sort the online lobbies by friends and join the lobby named 'snailracing.org Division_(x) based off your Division placement from JLBowler. That lobby will be where you race Sunday.

    5. You drive fast and clean on Sunday

The original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.
If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
    Welcome to S.N.A.I.L.

You will wonder why you did not do so before. The main difference besides better paddles, adjustable rotation, And much better pedals with real ( but annoying )real resistance.. Is it feels more like the real deal. I have never driven Fanatec..someone tell us why they are better ( not cooler).

    NEWS FLASH.....NEWS FLASH.....NEWS FLASH.....NEWS FLASH.....NEWS FLASH.

Due to my team mates being hors de combat due to real life. I have stepped down from the managership and driver in SNAIL's #6 McLaren in the upcoming 24 heures du mans. We need four drivers ASAP in order not to lose the entry. The entry was a favor from the organizers so we need to keep it so as not to lose favor with them. There must be four guys who want to do this. Race is 12 and 13 th.

Here is the link for the main race thread

    Contact @cmbeal317 to enter....quickly.

Personally the car was too quick for me anyway. I have joined with @miata13B and @gtp_Tenderly in a BMW...SEE YOU THERE.
