Well yes, for the most part that car is very predictable, but specifically in the Schumacher S, and the left hander coming into Ford Kurve, there were times where I felt like the car just wanted to slide so much, and other times where it was on rails. That car does have an amazing amount of grip with SS tires too, so yes, it does make it difficult to make solid passes. I think combo 2 at Indy made for the best racing in terms of passing.

Last night, things were really going fine as I manage to pull way better results than I thought I could with the Integra.
Then we move to Indy road course and on the first lap of the first race I feel a "pock" under my left foot.
I'm still not quite sure about what happened but something on my break pedal broke or moved out of place. I was so frustrated!

D1 and D7. Get your hsit together and get your results posted. If you can't do this in a timely fashion you will not be eligible for any prizes.

By the way. Any body that voted to keep the piece of crap VW on the piece of crap track over the other pieces of crap is an idiot. That is all of my commentary.
Holy "crap" are you cranky...

Which makes for a nice parade at GPF. No where to pass and the car is too stable to wait for a mistake. A typical pick from D6 thru D8, easy to drive and hard to pass unless you make a major mistake.

I have a feeling floptastr8 didn't need to wait for mistakes in order to pass a lot of people.

Alright. Before this degenerates into a classic SNAIL bi:censored:ch fest, how 'bout everyone puts on their tolerance ties and serenity socks and let it go. The prize winners get to pick, the rest of us get to vote which one we like the least and go from there.

Lloyd, if you ain't gonna share, don't be waving that popcorn bag/bowl about. ;)

It is in the Böring bag though;)

I usually can only eat half of the popcorn cause I get sick of it, you can have the rest Or lick the butter off the inside of the bag :P

Attention D3. I am going to take a break from Sunday for a little while.

They say you make your own luck...but apparently all I can create is bad luck. I can't remember a week where I had a clean, crash-free night. If someone else makes a mistake, I get caught up in it. If I make a mistake...I get caught up in it ;) Wherever there is a pile-up, that's where you'll find me.

I can post fastest laps at least once a night but through circumstances self-inflicted or not, I end up dead last.

Gonna take at least the rest of September off of Sunday night racing to chill and re-focus on how to stay out of trouble.

Joe... welcome to my world. I can put up a fast lap that's on par with the best of them but I have no consistency. One thing that's definitely helping me is to run endurance races. I find my mindset is different. Staying on track rather than drive the crap out of the car.
I'm starting to see an improvement on my Sunday races too. I still make silly mistakes but I'm starting to run races without falling off the track too.

I keep meaning to do this series again. But because I get so little practice, I get in and run decent laps but end up running out of gas (last time I did it I ran out of gas twice) and just generally mismanaging pit stops, I usually end up running around by myself for an hour.

Definitely going to try another snail series or think of something to run on Monday ;)

Better yet, while your sitting there munching that popcorn, get the scores and votes entered in the Director's doc, and, get some replays for D1 uploaded so the rest of SNAIL can see what the D1 Snailiens are doing and give those that want it, something to aim for. You guys are the yardstick many are measured with. Without D1 data, many that may benefit, from being able to see your data, can't be measured, lacking or otherwise.

There is a SNAIL Monday night Miata's series that is currently in development/testing and will probably be up and running in a week or two. From the testing sessions that I've participated in so far it's been a lot of fun.

Who wants to give me a brief tutorial on how to upload replays to the Doc later this week? And I also need permission to go into the Doc as well cause I can't access it.

Unfortunately for me, I really despise Miatas in general. It's not a game thing or performance thing...I just don't like them in real life.

Is this you volunteering to take on the jobs of Replay Uploader, Scorekeeper and Data Specialist?

The combos are very good, the VW is really easy to handle the Camaro is a challenge but it should be the last race of the night esp. When it's a race car make the final race more thrilling.
