And to go along with the track the remaining part of the combo is:

Nissan R390 Road Car 98

For those that want to take less than 5 minutes to find this car amongst the 20 pages of Nissans. Post oil change PP is 527. Correct me if I'm wrong, but SS tires becausee it's not a race car?

And I now have 36 Nissans...

This combo choice management is working beautifully. We're finally getting new cars coming out consistently bringing awesome new challenges and making snail a new thing every week.
Although I'm not racing right now, I'm taking part in some practicing sessions and loving this sense of new fresh air.
Good job.

I don't want to guess a lap time for this one, but it should be slower than the WSR. How much though?

I'll bet it's faster than the WSR. It's more than twice the ponies. Hopefully it can haul its butt out of the wet paper bag and down those straights at a respectable speed.

I ran an out lap and 1 hot lap and ran 2:02.4. Take that for what it's worth, which is probably null.

It is faster than the WSR when driven right.. A lot of draft makes it very fast! But not by much!

And I now have 36 Nissans...

you can now sell 35. This one is one of the best ones!

And in case some of you are curiouis as to why this one is a Road Car.. here is some history of the car.

Nissan R390 GT1 Road Car

Road car
Only two known R390 road cars were ever built, each of which Nissan originally offered for a price of $1,000,000. One is stored at Nissan's Zama warehouse. The other was sold to a wealthy car enthusiast by auction. The street-legal road car is capable of running 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds and 0-100 mph in just 6.5 seconds. The 1/4 mile is accomplished in just 11.1 seconds at 145 mph (233 km/h). The Nissan R390 recorded a top speed of 354 km/h (220 mph), making it not only the fastest Japanese production car ever manufactured, but also the 3rd fastest production car in its time, behind the 1998 TVR Speed 12 (245 mph) and 1995-1998 McLaren F1 (231 mph), but surpassing the CTR2 (217 mph) and the XJ220 (213 mph).

Newbs.

On another note, not worthy of a TOPP or STOPP.

To all Data Specialists, frustrated by the constant and irritating sheet reloads when entering timing data, a refinement to the Total Time calculation has been worked out by @msgt-sd , tested in the D1 Results tab and rolled in to every other division tab. At this time, you should not have those pesky reload issues when entering gaps and no special steps need be taken to work around them. Just enter the gaps as they are shown in the replays. It shouldn't matter anymore whether the Total Time in row 6 is entered or not. If anyone has issues when entering gaps, please let us know.

If anyone wonders how to get the total time from the replays, when it hasn't been entered during scoring on Sunday night, please PM me and I'll let you know how it's done.
Glad I'm a little late doing the data this week, I will do D7 data this afternoon and let you know how it works out.

Actually this is not uncommon in the world of roadracing when the front end tucks under and loses grip. The bikes are so light that the rider supports the bike on his body while the rear wheel continues to push. Then the rider uses his elbow and leg to push himself and the bike back up to a point where the front end can grab pavement again and he continues on.

This is definitely a pre-crash or save moment...not normal riding angles. You can see the front wheel has left the pavement due to it washing out and the rider supporting the weight of the bike. So Marquez hasn't "changed" anything about GP riding. It's just a pucker moment...roadracers all over the world have this happen to them. Either the front end completely tucks and the bike low sides or the rider manages to catch it, lift the bike to where the tire regains pavement, and move on. Highsides are a product of the rear wheel losing grip violently, low sides are a product of the front wheel losing grip.
Joe's explanation is good. In my close to 20 yrs of racing GP bikes I can confirm the above. If I started to lose the front end while my knee was on the ground, I could more often than not lift the bike up slightly with my knee and save the low side crash. However, when I lost traction at the rear and the bike stepped out quickly, I more often than not found myself doing my other passion, flying!

I don't display them. They are mostly concert advertising posters and they are old and fragile. I took one out to show a friend and I tore it a little. I won't be doing that again.

Here is one I'm trying to get my brother to give me.

Speaking of music. For all you Pink Floyd fans that are waiting for the release of 'The Endless River', I just Skyped with my brother and he played me a song from the album called ' Louder Than Words'; he's in the biz and if your a fan, you are going to love it. Can't wait to hear the rest of the album.
This Friday is the release!!! I have the double album pre-ordered, it's so great to be able to get vinyl again!

I don't want to be a pest, but I also need the post oil HP. Me and my PS3 will be separated for few more days.

The problem with the approximate 2:00 minute lap time is that it is on that pivot of 5 laps = 10 min and 6 laps = 12 min. Therefore, the important number is not the average fastest lap times for the mid-Div drivers, but the average clean lap times they will sustain over the duration of the race. The first lap will be 6-10 seconds longer than the rest, which means you have to average 5 laps at less than 1:58 to finish a 6 lap race under 12 minutes. If I put the Average at 2:00, then the race is 6 laps and 12 min. If I put the average at 2:01 the race is 5 laps and just over 10 minutes (like we had with the WSR). The rule is to rather go over 12 min than to go under 10 minutes for the mid div durations. For now I will put it at 2:00 and we can see what happens on Thursday night practice.

I raced very briefly on a local level but have worked in the Mcy/ATV/Jetski industry for 20 years. Where/when and what level did you race?

I included the Nissan post oil change numbers in my post :) But I'll re-post it below as well.

Raced modern and vintage GP from '81 to '99. Amateur and Pro level. All tracks in Canada from Gimli Manitoba east to Nova Scotia with R.A.C.E. and the VRRA. In the US it was mainly east with ahrma, AMA/CCS at Mid Ohio, Gratton, Road America/Elkhart Lake, Roebling Road, Loudon and Daytona.
This is my first set of leathers showing the results of trying to find the limits! These are Manx Leathers made in The Isle of Man.

That was the most efficient workaround to only getting a maximum of 6 page reloads during data entry. It shouldn't do it at all now. We'll see how it acts when we have 4 weeks worth of sheets in there and 50 bajillion formulas running rampant.

Oh yeah, the winners gap can now be entered simply as 0.

You tryin' ta make me barf again? :yuck:

Thanks to everyone for taking the time to work on a solution for this. Should save us a few more minutes which will be much appreciated.

This week's combos sound great, even if the WSR was eliminated. But either way I won't be here so make it a good week and I'm gonna vote Combo 2 off pre-maturely. It's been there two weeks now and we need something new and refreshing.

I got the Peu's numbers from @nmcp1 post, thanks. Sorry for the misunderstanding there.

I need the post oil Horse Power for the fast Datsun..... For a bunch of motor heads I'm surprized that we only quote PP's
