Sorry for the delay
I drove this last night, it is an ABSOLUTE blast. Sliding around (controller slide) it’s going to be a lot of fun in my opinion.

I will be active this Season to close out 2019. I'm available to host official practice tonight, and I'll also have the 2019 SNAIL Total Points sheet updated later tonight.
Hot damn that's a fun combo!
Thank you sir.
With these hot combos this week we will need a standby for a second or third practice lobby...
@man69800 , @NASCARNATE91 , @Nick Cannella , @Phlano099 , @Timlour can you let us know, please?
Also, lets continue to practice the new qually procedure where possible. I know it is a bit difficult to explain when we have non-members in the lobby. So, give it a try, but be patient with non-memebers
General request: Can someone volunteer to upload at least one race of each combo on Thursday nights. I would like to give @GTP_Guido a head start to create these awesome banners. All you need to do is upload the replay and then go to your library via your computer and paste the link and tag Guido. Very simple.
Example: Replay of Round 3
Good looking batch of combos this week. I'm hoping to make it this week, but can't make practice due to work schedule. Any chance we could get some streams posted here of tonight's practice to get target times to achieve for Sundays races. Thanks in advance to those who do.
Also, for anyone looking to fill up some time on Friday nights, I am hosting 2 series that are low commitment, 1 race night per month each:
Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge-Presented by Snail
SNAIL- Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge, Event #5 at Barcelona, Friday, December 13th at 9pm est. - we are 4 events in with Event #5 at Barcelona next Friday at 9pm. The Series is open for more Reserve drivers. No commitment other than to be signed to the Reserve Roster. When available, simply be among the first Reserve Drivers to post your availability to secure any vacant spots left open from absent primary drivers. Typically 2-3 spots open up per event. Check out it out.
Lamborghini Super Trofeo series
Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series: 6 DRIVERS STILL NEEDED, Start date, Dec 20th at Monza.
Series opens on Friday, December 20th at 9pm est. 12 drivers are signed, and I am hoping to get a full roster before race night. If anyone is interested, please have a look at the link above, and sign up per the instructions.
Hope these might be of interest to some of you.
Can't make it to practice, got a club meeting as usual
Just a couple of notes about the new qualifying procedure based on feedback from last Sunday.
The scorekeeper is the only driver that starts their qualifying run when the host says start. All other drivers, except the host, start their run at the same time which is 5 seconds after the scorekeeper leaves. You can see when this happens by watching the map. Once all other drivers have started their run, the host will start their session.
All drivers are expected to create a 5 second gap during the outlap to the driver in front of them and keep this gap until the start of the qualifying lap.
Drivers should not be passing anyone on the out lap unless they have run off the track.
We will be working to fine tune the process on tracks that require multiple groups to qualify.
This format brings a realistic feel to race nights.
People will get used to it
We have company from out of town and I won't be available for the practice lobbies
SNAIL Official Practice Lobby
I'll try to get a stream going when we start @llNovall
Unfortunately Spotify closes when you start a broadcast, so when I stream I can't listen to music.
I absolutely despise this...I usually take an earbud and play spotify off of my phone amd serenade the entire party of my great singing voice
Final Season! Top 3 and 1 random winner will all be receiving Amazon gift cards
Snail Invitational Lobby open: 0475-4178-3208-2950-2532

My Subscription was going to end on the 11th. Wife bought me a 3 month extension for $16.99. The code came by email within a couple minutes and the code worked completely. Anyone else want to renew for that cheap for 3 months really great price. The site also has a 12 month PS Plus subscription for $44.99
The drivers list has been updated and is ready for this week's racing. All new drivers that submitted a time trial have been added to the list.
The SNAIL Sunday Score Sheets for Dec 8 has been prepared and is ready to go for tonight.
Remember the modified qually procedure. Tip: When the scorekeeper goes, he immediately goes as fast as possible on his out lap - just GUN it buddy!! As everyone else enters the track, try this:
If you find yourself second behind the scorekeeper, slow down a bit and make sure you have a decent gap between you and him before you get into Turn 1.
The rest of the field - slow down, don't pass anybody, and even come to a stop before Turn 1 to ensure you have a decent gap to the driver ahead of you before you pursue your out lap. Almost like the old days, but slightly different.
While in the pits, you can keep an eye on the track map and see how people are entering the course. You might even delay your entrance a bit before you go on track.
The host will be the last one to enter the track.
What is a decent gap?: a) We aim for 5 seconds. So, if you are slowing down or stopping before turn one, count to 5 before you speed up (or use the race clock). b) Monitor the track map while on your out lap and make sure the gap is such that you can fit at least two arrows between you and the driver ahead of you before you start your hot lap.
In this way you will have a decent temperature in your tires and you will run a decent speed on your out lap.
D3 Lobby Open.
Div 1 from and interesting perspective...
All hosts should start tonight's racing at the scheduled time. The only reason to hold the start is to give someone who was already in the lobby their three minutes to return from the time they left, provided they are believed to have been disconnected, or to sort invisible driver issues.
