I wondered that very thought yesterday too. It will be an absolute mess for SNAIL if the answer is no.
This week's prize winners are clear to make their selections. Good racing!
The IR Submission Form is now closed. We have 1 incident on file. Target deadline for reviews is NLT 10PM Eastern on Friday, 10/23/20.

There was an oversight in the original resutls. The prize winners are as follows:
1st prize winner - @Timlour (prize A)
2nd prize winner - @aedenmaddok (choice to use or pass the freeze)
3rd prize winner - @LST (whichever option is given to him by the second prize winner)
You are all clear to make your selections. Please do so by posting in this thread. I will try and get the conversation started today but I make no guarantees. The president of our company is visiting today and I could be taken away from my office at any moment for any amount of time.
PORSCHE CAYMAN GT4 CLUBSPORT 2016 on RH Tires @ Autodromo de Interlagos - 08:30 Clear
Mid. Div. Lap time - 1:38.600
D1 data is complete.
Prize Selection Update
We, once again, have an absentee prize winner. It's our second prize winner which has the choice to use or pass the freeze. In the interest of time, I'm making a decision that the freeze will be used.
If you raced in D2 this week, you get to vote to freeze the car or the track. Deadline to vote will be 3PM ET which is just over three hours from now. Once that voting is complete, @LST will be clear to choose the other part of the combo. I don't have time right now to tag everyone that raced in D2. If someone else could do that and direct that post to this post so everyone sees it, that would be very helpful. If not, I'll come back and take care of it after a couple of meetings.
Freeze the car
Freeze the Car - TVR Tuscan
Guilt is over...assembling the seat/wheel combo today. Maybe driving for the 1st time tonight after 3yrs...cool.
So I forgot to ask about the rejoin procedures
Unlikely I will be competitive for awhile, but I’d like to rejoin and race again. I’ll stay in the back and out of everyone’s way
I’m giddy to have some semblance of quality equipment.
The car is frozen.
@LST has already used prize B this season by choosing this car last week so if you raced in D1, make one suggestion for a track and @LST will choose from them. Deadline to suggest is 6:00 PM ET, a little less than 3 hours from now. Once again, I don't have time to tag anyone as I am headed into another meeting (this is the crap that happens when the president of the company shows up for a visit).
Lago Maggiore West, Default time.
Since that's the only suggestion. We are done. @Rednose58 thanks for your help today tagging guys.
I have read the first post and would like to rejoin after the passing of many moons.
Here's your official SNAIL Re-Re-Re-Welcome Post!
Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:
We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:
1. You start a conversation and add zer05ive, JLBowler, nmcp1, Rednose58, MajorBlixem, SAMHAIN85 & llNovall as participants.
The conversation title should be "Request To Join".
2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing.
3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
SNAIL OLR Policies and Guidelines
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday
Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.
During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL
I had to make another wild guess for the lap times for Round 1.....

Thanks for hosting practice tonight
Any tips for ways to earn credits fairly quickly? My game save was at around 300k credits. So now I have to figure out ways to buy the Tuscan and NSX (I already had the Cayman).
Check back on page 4571.
There are a couple posts that have suggestions.
First post re: Credit farming: message 137119
The setup for the xBow can be found using the search suggestion below. @Xradkins seemed to have trouble with this, but my only problem is a sore right shoulder. Tire selection is not normal in my world. Don't touch anyone, but slight wall touches can be made.
For me the following option was hard to complete with a clean race bonus, which is necessary for good farming. Exceeding track limits seems to negate the 'clean' bonus. AND you need a 10 - 20 million credit car to race. The Xbow is cheap.
So I used to use the kite view ever since my GT1 days. But I am trying to change to a more “Pro” view.
I don’t like the in car view...too limiting. I like the roof view the best but apparently there is no rear view mirror in this view? Wtf?
The only other view is the bumper cam but it’s really low...not really a fan right now.
Can you live without a mirror?
You can live without a mirror if you use the lower right of the screen changed to “radar” view (closeup view).
If you use any other sim, just bite the bullet and do cockpit view. We do this in part for the realism factor, right? Yes.
If you drive cockpit view, you may earn the privilege to drive this truck.
Spoiler: Screamin’ sweet
I have completed 1 review on file.
Cockpit to me isn’t realistic due to lack of peripheral vision. Maybe if I had multiple monitors.
I’ll try and figure out the mini map thingy...
