All hosts should start tonight's racing at the scheduled time. The only reason to hold the start is to give someone who was already in the lobby their three minutes to return from the time they left, provided they are believed to have been disconnected, or to sort invisible driver issues.

The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 3 - HYUNDAI N 2025 VISION GRAN TURISMO GR.1 (RM) at Kyoto Driving Park - Yamagiwa+Miyabi II - 19:30 Clear (8 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @Timlour wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 1 - TVR TUSCAN SPEED 6 2000 (SS) at Autodrome Lago Maggiore - West - 05:00 Clear (10 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @Akzl298 gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @LST so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and/or tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select must not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in a draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to choose the Integra Type R as your car selection, post "Honda Integra Type R (DC2) '98". If you want to select Monza for your track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". Being specific helps us to update the lineup accurately and also helps avoid any confusion among the drivers. Also, please be sure to list the HP and Weight (LBS) of any car you select. For track selections, include the time of day (e.g: 09:00 Clear) or else it will be left to default.

Polyphony Digital’s Gran Turismo 7 could be released in the first half of 2021.

That’s the launch window reportedly featured on an official PlayStation 5 advert appearing on YouTube for some users in the French speaking Canadian province of Quebec.

“Sortie prévue pour la première moitié de 2021” (release scheduled for the first half of 2021), the advert reads, according to the GT Planet forum user who originally spotted it.

GT Planet claims the Gran Turismo image included in the advert is a brand new one showing the Porsche 917K at Trial Mountain featured in the game’s reveal trailer.

VGC has contacted Sony to ask about the authenticity of the advert and for information on Gran Turismo 7’s launch window.

Simon Rutter, PlayStation’s EVP for Europe, has said the first series installment since 2017’s Gran Turismo Sport will “benefit from almost every single technological enhancement” included in Sony’s next-gen console.

“The loading times will be next to nothing compared to what they have been in the past,” he told the Guardian earlier this year.

The YouTube ad as it reportedly appeared
“Sitting in the cockpit, the 3D audio allows you to hear the thunderous roar of a Ferrari behind you or in front of you, and you can recognise the difference between that and the engine noise of a Maserati.

“Driving the car using the DualSense controller, you’ll have a different feeling in your hands from the smooth undulating tarmac of a racetrack, compared to the gritty sensation on a gravel track,” Rutter claimed. “Pressing a soft accelerator will feel very different than pressing on a stiff brake pedal or gear paddle.”

Polyphony CEO Kazunori Yamauchi has previously suggested the studio will prioritise increased frame rates over higher display resolutions for Gran Turismo 7.

He has also said the next Gran Turismo will incorporate the “past, present and future” of the series.

I would like to begin racing in snail with my PX7-Grove PSN account. It would make my streaming process more simple, since I do all of my other racing & broadcasting on that px7 team account.

If I need to announce that I have read the first post and go through the usual steps I’d be happy to. If there is an easier way, just let me know @Rednose58 @nmcp1

Have a look at this post. 👍

Guys, meant to post this at least yesterday. This week’s A sport race is at Sardena A, where we are currently running the Cayman (good practice). The sport race is using your choice of ‘95 or ‘09 911. My 1st races Monday night were like taking candy from a baby, mostly from being top qualifier. The’95 makes for better lap times but you absolutely can NOT overdrive it. The’09 is much easier to control but much harder to get fast lap times.
Last night, A sport race was slightly more challenging since a 1:26.1 was only good for starting 2nd. The ‘09 is better off the line which makes the first corner critical for those in the’95.
