D2. You currently have 15 drivers and one of them is not on the drivers list and he's been there a while. Get him out of there before you get to 16 and people think it's full.

Disregard. They were out on my next check.

D2 is locked in as it sits. If anyone tries to get in now, it's too late.

All hosts should start the night's racing at the schedule time. The only reason to hold the start is to allow someone who has disconnected their three minutes to return to the room.

Is there an updated summary of IR filings and the subsequent outcomes? I checked the link In Bowlers signature and there have been no updates since the 1st of the year. I know the all clear was given this week which would mean a ruling was made but I can’t find it.

The stewards currently have two members that are semi active in reviewing incidents. Those two are myself and @Rob Brown . We are currently weeks behind because the two of us have not been able to review incidents for whatever reason. I can say that my reasons for not reviewing are having to work, having too many projects to do at my house, and my responsibilities as an officer of the Men's Club (golf). I will make an attempt to get the reviews caught up as soon as I have some time to spend on the PS4 and watch some replays. Once the reviews are brought up to date, we will be bringing in another steward to help out. If anyone else is interested in a steward position, start a conversation with me and the rest of the BoD and state your interest.

As for the incident involving a prize winner. There is a deadline to get that done and by the time that deadline came around, only one review had been completed. One review is not enough to make a change to the final results so the prize winners were not changed.

Feb 2021 Preliminary Standings

I'm looking for thoughts and suggestions. You may or may not know (or care) I have a new rig, which has changed my seating position drastically and I'm unsure of how to proceed. I now sit much lower. I use the bumper view or cockpit view. I've included photos to illustrate what I mean. Before: I could see the entire GTS screen, the Fanatec wheel being below the tv screen. After: The Fanatec wheel is now very much in my line of sight and blocks various HUD info. I very much like the view while driving, but I find myself having to move my upper body and/or head to see some things (gear, speed, rev bar, etc). What does your sim world look like?

I think I'd get tired of having to peer over the wheel just to read the HUD.

And in some cases, it's dangerous! We've all been stuck behind them...

This is my view from eye level:

I'd say the top of my wheel is in line with my upper chest/throat. And if you drew a horizontal line across the TV, the top of the wheel would be in line with that, but slightly below it:

The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 1 - NISSAN FAIRLADY Z VERSION S (Z33) 2007 (SM) at Blue Moon Bay Speedway - Infield B II - 17:00 Clear (16 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @DublDee wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 3 - CHEVROLET CORVETTE C7 GR.3 (RH) at Autodrome Lago Maggiore - GP - 09:30 Cloudy (7 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @Xexploit gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @gatordaryl so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and/or tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select must not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in a draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to choose the Integra Type R as your car selection, post "Honda Integra Type R (DC2) '98". If you want to select Monza for your track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". Being specific helps us to update the lineup accurately and also helps avoid any confusion among the drivers. Also, please be sure to list the HP and Weight (LBS) of any car you select. For track selections, include the time of day (e.g: 09:00 Clear) or else it will be left to default.

@Xexploit has passed the freeze to me ... so I choose to freeze the CAR (Vette Gr3).

@Xexploit , your choice for the track.

thank you!

I can confirm that @Xexploit did state that he would be passing the freeze in the conversation for prize winners. I used to have language in my conversation starter that specifically said the choice had to be made in the main thread but it's gotten lost somewhere amid the numerous copy / paste uses. I'll put it back in moving forward but since the choice is already made, we'll go from here with @Xexploit up to choose a track.

Prize A Announcement.....
Tokyo central outer loop 18:00 in the Au Tom’s RC F ‘16 GR2.
Mid Division Lap time = 1:04.000

Thank you for a timely selection.

It’s greatly appreciated that a combo can be quickly selected. For those that struggle to make practice or take available time to practice in time for Sunday’s, I say thank you! This is the only way I could possible gain available time while my work schedule is effected by Covid.
Cheers Dub
