Congratulations on all divisional podium finishes. There are some truly fast times on the board.
Anytime faster than 1'16.632 was in the 1st quartile, those who achieved it should be proud of their accomplishments.

I sent my qualifier times in recently. And while I wait to hear back, I would like to share some statistics for Week 5's provisional results.

Again, lap time is in seconds on the x-axis.

Probability plots are usually used to determine how normally distributed your data is, but in this context I have given them a new meaning.
Look at them like this:
The fastest lap time was a 1'15.775, according to the first P-plot only 1 percent of the GT5 playing population is faster than the individual who posted that lap. And according to the second P-plot only 5 percent of the GT5 playing population that could qualify for D1 is faster than that individual.
(Note: Such a claim is a vast over simplification and has various errors in the assumption of the GT5 playing population, but it is a neat way to think of it)

I have noticed the number of WRS participants has decreased quite rapidly in this first of month of the GT5 WRS. I hope the numbers pick back up as more interesting combinations are chosen because statistics is always more fun with a larger sample size.
Week 6 is fun, that's for sure.

@zdawood89: nice math and plotting. The participation factor you desire is just that, a desire. There are a lot of people who pop in and out. Some won't participate because they don't want to be measured, others don't because they can't do it, such as caring for family or having to work. The combo only has a limited effect on that number. I don't know how to quantify that, but it's there.
That being said, many and much kudos on another tool to use for us geeks who do look at them. You obviously have a skill, and I look forward to see what you come up with next!

Sunday night I started using Rudi's tune, and man that was awesome. Wish I'd tried it much sooner. Thanks! This lap is my own tune though, with lame TC = 2.
