Rahal proved he can drive Sunday, and Newgarden did as well...and also proved he's a winner. 👍 That was a great race and an awesome finish.

Yeah, glad Newgarden won - been an Ed Carpenter Racing fan for a couple of years so when CFH was formed naturally supported him too. Been unlucky not to have won a couple of others.

Power was a doofus again though...

The new thread was being more kept-up-to-date.

I guess hes talking about @VNAF Ace spamming highlight videos before every race like a advertisement bot. He comes off as an Indycar shill, not a fan. If VNAF wanted what was best for Indycar he wouldnt ignore the already created 2015 thread and keep bumping this corpse of a thread.

Does it really matter? How many people actually care?

On the actual IndyCar topic, I saw where Conor Daly is getting a drive for the 500

Rahal can drive there is no doubt about that, but the current Dallara is a very sensitive car what we have seen is if you get lost on setup it can really effect your whole season and last season was a complete writeoff, similar thing happened in 2013 with Power.

If Rahal can get his confidence back to the same levels as the start of his career he is title Material, I don't believe he has lost his talent just his motivation has been a bit all over the place the last few years.

It helps that Bobby isn't constantly in his ear anymore.

Excuse me for sharing highlights with my fellow IndyCar fans and wanting to keep a record of the last 10 years of IndyCar racing. Just because I don't have time to post constantly on GT Planet doesn't mean I'm not an IndyCar fan. Some of us have obligations such as work, school, and family. What gives you the right to judge who is and isn't a fan? I want the best for IndyCar so I take time out of my busy life to post highlights, and continually update the complete 2015 schedule on the first page of this thread so new fans can find out where and when to watch races. I've been an IndyCar fan ever since my father, an automotive engineer, introduced me to cars and racing. I grew up during the glory days of the 80s and 90s when IndyCar was the #1 motorsport in America. All I want is IndyCar to regain its prestige and popularity that it lost during the split.

What have you done for IndyCar? I work for a major IndyCar sponsor, support other sponsors, and bring new fans to my local IndyCar race every year. My father and I also restored a 2nd generation Honda Integra and tastefully added IndyCar decals to it. Real fans promote their favorite sport, and bringing in new fans is what is best for any sport.

Takes a bit more than just highlight videos from the Indycar youtube to keep a thread up to date, but I guess our definitions of it differ.

Found a full race at barber to watch on youtube, cant wait, seemed like a great race,

It was the best race so far this season.

Well, they set the bar awful low with the first three didn't they 👎 That being said, Barber was a fine race in it's own right, lets hope they can keep it up 👍

So, I'm guessing nobody liked Long Beach. Honestly, I felt that race was a massive improvement after that disaster at Nola and they just got better at Barber.

Personally, I can't think of a street course race I have enjoyed in the past decade or two. With the slower nature of Formula E it seems to work for them on some of the more interesting layouts they have run. With most tier one motorsports, be it sports cars or open wheel, it just seems the speed, power and close racing they provide end up being either yellow flag infused crash fests or boring high speed parades. Neither of which I find interesting in the least, but maybe that is just me :)

Well surprisingly, Long Beach wasn't the start & stop caution fest it usually can be (unlike Nola) so I was just saying it was quite the improvement in comparison (though it helped the drivers had a impromptu meeting about their driving, where some sense was likely talked into them).

I love street circuits, globally there isn't enough!

But the biggest problem, and its a problem that is isolated to North American motor racing, and that is the ridiculous length of debris cautions,

Anyway, on a lighter note. This happened.
Just an average day on Twitter.png

I thought Long Beach was good. Just Barber was one of the best Indycar races of the last few years I think. Especially considering Barber is a notoriously hard place to pass.

I don't think it matters if Dracone was or was not a lap down. He was ruining the battle for the lead.
That was his last race right? I sure hope so.

They're either a parade or a wreck fest. Neither of which interests me
