Regular season field is much smaller usually. Mind you, it's a hell of a lot better than the sorry excuse for GT fields that ELMS and the WEC put up. 9 GTE's and 16 GT3's, not bad. Next year we could have even more.Why the smaller GT fields? Just lack of track space?
Torque is still king, and the big V8 is giving them a .3 advantage in the final sector which is turns 9-10 and the hairpin over every other P car.Well don't forget those guys have ruled Long Beach for a few years now. They know their way around this track. Not really a surprise that they've got it right again.
