1.4. Every driver must be a part of a team in some capacity to be allowed to participate.
1.5. Teams may field up to two drivers per class for four cars total.
1.5.1. Teams in GT500 must run the same car for both drivers.
1.5.2. Teams in GT300 may be permitted to run two different chassis, pending approval by the chief steward.
1.6. All teams and drivers must select a valid tire supplier based on what's available for their class.
1.6.1. GT500 teams have Bridgestone, Dunlop, and Yokohama as tire supplier options.
1.6.2. Teams in GT500 must run the same tire supplier between their cars.

1.8. Teams must adhere to driver limitations when selecting drivers. Drivers rated as Platinum, Gold, or Silver may compete in either of the two classes, while drivers rated as Bronze are limited to only competing in the GT300 class.
1.9. A simple registration guide is provided below for all entrants to use once they've read the regulations.
-PSN ID:
-Team Name:
-Class:
-Car Number:
-Car Choice:
-Tire Provider:
-Primary Sponsor:
2.1. Liveries featuring sponsorship from tobacco companies, or pornographic materials will be prohibited. Violations against this rule will result in an automatic 30 day suspension from all VRR events and activities.
2.2. Liveries promoting a political stance or agenda will be prohibited. VRR remains a political neutral ground, and will remain open to everyone as such. Violators will be given one warning to refrain from using political advertising. Those that ignore the warning will receive a 30 day suspension from all VRR events and activities.
2.3. All cars must use the official Super GT numberplates on their cars and use the official numbers. The GT500 number panel can be located here. GT300 number panel can be located here.
2.3.1. All number plates must be located either directly behind the front tires or in front of the rear tires, as well as on the bonnet of the car.
2.3.2. Additionally, the car number must be located in a box on the rear bumper of the car to the right. The box must fit the numbers completely and must be of the same or very similar color as the actual number plate.
2.3.3. Each number must be the official Super GT number font, which can be located with the following: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0.
2.3.5. Door panel number plates must be lower than the top of the wheel arches on the car.
2.4. The VRR decal must be present on all cars, on the sides of the car in front of the side mirrors, as well as on the rear of the car to the right of and beside the manufacturer's badge.
2.5. GT500 cars must have clear headlights, while GT300 cars must have yellow headlights.
2.6. All cars must have the black windshield banner applied.
2.7. Each entry must have the same livery in use between the entry's two drivers. Only allowable difference is in driver name located above the door windows, and the light indicator present only on GT500 cars.
2.8. Teams cannot use primary sponsors reserved by other teams. Entries in violation of this will be considered as non-classified finishers, and will not be included in the final results.
2.9. Teams cannot use decals of other, non-affiliated organizations outside of VRR. Teams that do will be subject to a 60 second post race time penalty.
2.10. All liveries are expected to be tasteful. Liveries containing memes or deliberately distasteful will be rejected, and entries will be refused until a solution is presented.
3.1. VRR is a clean racing environment. Tough, but fair competition is expected. Accidents will be reviewed after each race and post race penalties may be assessed.
3.2. Drivers must be aware of their surroundings at all times in a multiclass environment. Drivers in the faster class will be expected to drive cleaner and use patience with their overtakes.
3.3. Drivers attempting to lap cars will need to use flashing lights as well as patience in passing.
3.4. Drivers being lapped do not have to pull off of the racing line, but must maintain a constant line until after they have been cleared by the passing car.
3.5. Drivers that have been lapped cannot fight to regain that lap unless they are engaged in a battle for direct position on track.
3.6. The racing surface is determined to be the asphalt/concrete which contains the racing line. Curbstones, sausage curbing, and astroturf do not count as part of the racing surface unless there is a notable exception.
3.6.1. Suzuka Circuit-Turns 8-9 (Degner Curves), 15 (130R), 16-18 (Casio Triangle) allow the usage of the bi-colored curbstones as track surface.
3.7. Pit entry and exit lines are to be respected at all times. Drivers that are found to cross the solid lines entering or exiting pit lane will receive a post race time penalty.
3.8. Passing under yellow flag conditions is prohibited. Drivers that pass under a local yellow or full course yellow (safety car period) and do not give the position back will be penalized.
3.8.1. Local yellow flag zones are measured as sectors where cars are either immobile or moving at a reduced pace due to damage.
3.8.2. Full course yellow zones are marked by the application of a safety car to neutralize a race under certain conditions.
3.9. Ragequitting races are seen as a sign of disrespect for the series organizers, the other competitors, and the spirit of racing. Leaving races in such a fashion will be met with consequences up to and including suspension or a ban.
3.10. Drivers may defend a position on track as often as they elect to do so, but are subject to a 30 second post race time penalty for avoidable contact or collision should they give another car damage or push them off of the racing surface.
3.11. Brake warming, or brake testing, is illegal and is subject to strict penalization.
4.1. Full course yellows, or safety car periods, will be instigated by hazards such as mass disconnections, severe collisions between multiple cars, or severe instabilities with network communications.
4.1.1. The criteria for crashes that bring out safety car periods are crashes in which three or more cars suffer at least one of the following: 1) Engine damage, 2) Damage to 3 or more parts of their car that does not include the engine or 3) the ending of the first stint to an event.
4.1.2. All drivers that receive engine damage must type the letters "CD" or "cd" for Crash Damage. Upon which, the safety car driver will type either "SCD" for Safety Car deployment.
4.1.3. Mass disconnections are instances where multiple competitors disconnect from the race lobby in rapid succession. For a safety car to come out in this instance, three competitors must disconnect in a span of under 120 seconds.
4.1.3.1. In the case of a mass disconnection, the Safety Car driver, or the race leader, will type "SCD MD" and lead the field to a red flag stop on the pit straight. The race leader or Safety Car driver will record the order of the drivers remaining and then everyone will exit the race and wait for the disconnected drivers to return. Once the drivers have returned, the race will restart with with less time based on how much time was remaining when the mass disconnect occured. A manual formation lap will allow everyone to get into their proper grid positions, and then racing will resume.
4.2. Under a Safety Car period, all drivers must be single file, with two car lengths minimum between each car for most of the period. Once the field enters the last sector of the track, drivers may bunch up closer, without endangering each other, to allow for a decent restart.
4.3. Safety Car periods will last 4 full laps. Pit lane will remain open for the entire duration of the Safety Car period, and drivers are encouraged to pit if needed before catching up to the Safety Car queue.
4.4. In Super GT events, once the field is queued together, drivers in GT300 that are behind the GT500 leader, but ahead of the GT300 leader, will be allowed to pass the GT500 leader and catch up to the end of the queue.
4.4.1. Cars being waved around to catch the queue are not allowed to pass each other, which is standard under safety car periods.
4.5. The race will go back to green at the race leader's discretion upon entering the final corner of the track.
4.5.1. The overall race leader must keep a fluid motion when restarting. Starting and slowing down to check up the field is punishable by up to 30 seconds in post race time penalties.
5.1. The race lobby will be opened at 12:00 p.m, with the track closed to all competitors. Drivers must be present in the pit lane by 12:15 p.m. for scrutineering.
5.2. Scrutineering will be done by the chief steward to ensure every competitor's car is of the correct regulations in accordance to the Balance of Performance. After car specifications have been checked, the field will be organized by the chief steward for the correct starting grid.
5.3. The last step in scrutineering is ensuring clear visibility of all other competitors by each other.
5.3.1. First step to fixing visibility issues is to clear temporary online data. This can be done from the options menu inside the lobby.
5.3.2. If issues persist, the driver affected will be instructed to exit the lobby, save game before exiting completely, reboot, and then rejoin the lobby.
5.3.3. If issues persist beyond the previous point, the driver will be asked to sit the race out and let a reserve driver come in to take their place.
5.4. Race starts will be manual rolling starts following a manual formation lap.
5.4.1. All cars will follow the safety car at a speed of 50 miles per hour/80 kilometers per hour.
5.4.2. Once the field enters the final sector, the safety car and GT500 cars will accelerate to 62 miles per hour/100 kilometers per hour, while GT300 cars will hold their speed at 50 mph/80 kph.
5.4.3. Each class will stay single file until they reach the final corner. At this point, they will line up double file, with pole position being on the inside lane in accordance to turn 1's direction.
5.4.4. Each class will be allowed to enter racing conditions once they pass the pit lane entrance.
5.5. Once the GT500 leader finishes lap 84 for stint 1, a safety car will be called to neutralize the field to end stint 1.
5.5.1. Following the outlines of 4.4, the field will be lined up for the start of stint 2, with the first lap of stint 2 being the final lap of the mandatory safety car period. Drivers will restart the race at the end of the lap in standard restart procedure.
6.1. Events and issues that happen during the race can be met with post race time penalties.
6.1.1. Crossing the pit entry line will result in a 10 second post race time penalty.
6.1.2. Crossing the pit exit line will result in a 15 second post race time penalty.
6.1.3. Repeated corner cutting will result in a 10 second post race time penalty, irregardless of if an on track penalty was given.
6.1.3.1. Penalties will be assessed based on if a lasting advantage was made by cutting the corner.
6.1.4. Overtaking a competitor for position by using out of bounds areas, such as runoff, astroturf, or paved areas outside of the racing surface, will result in a 30 second post race time penalty.
6.1.4.1. This penalty can be avoided if the driver at fault returns to position behind the driver that was overtaken within three laps.
6.1.5. Jumping the race start will result in a 20 second post race time penalty
6.1.6. Passing unstricken cars under waved yellow flags will result in a 20 second post race time penalty.
6.1.7. Causing an avoidable collision will result in a 30 second post race time penalty.
6.1.8. Rejoining the racing surface dangerously will result in a 15 second time penalty.
6.1.9. Dangerously serving a penalty earned during the event will result in a 20 second post race time penalty.
6.1.10. Hitting another driver under Safety Car conditions will result in a 30 second post race time penalty.
6.1.11. Blocking cars ahead by a lap or more will result in a 20 second post race time penalty.
6.2. Other penalties awarded for off track issues will not result in a time penalty, but may be seen as more serious.
6.2.1. For the first offense of leaving a race session prematurely, a reprimand will be given to the driver in question.
6.2.2. For the second offense of leaving a race session prematurely, a one race suspension will be awarded.
6.2.3. For the third offense of leaving a race session prematurely, a two race suspension will be awarded.
6.2.4. For the fourth offense of leaving a race session prematurely, a four race suspension will be awarded.
6.2.4.1. Race suspensions apply only to the series the offense occurs.
6.2.4.2. Appeals can be made with sound reason as to why the voluntary forfeit occured.
6.2.5. Causing a deliberate collision with another car for any reason and with any end result will result in an automatic one race suspension.
6.2.5.1. The length of the suspension is left to the race steward to finalize on a per case basis.
6.2.6. Insulting a driver through prejudice or unfounded malice will result in a one race suspension once evidence is brought forward. An appeal will not be granted.
6.3. Drivers switching cars after the season has started will automatically be starting the following race at the rear of the entire field.
7.1. Provisionals are guarantees for cars and/or drivers to start a race in the instance that there are more entries than racing spaces available.
7.2. For the VRR Suzuka 1,000km event, team champions from the past two VRR Autobacs Super GT Championship seasons will be granted provisionals for the event.
7.3. For provisionals to be claimed, the teams must register entries in the class the provisional was earned. (GT300 Team Champion must field an entry in the GT300 class to claim the provisional, and likewise, a GT500 Team Champion must field an entry in GT500 class to claim the provisional.)
7.4. Teams can earn more than one provisional, should they win more than one Team Championships in the VRR Autobacs Super GT Championship.

I am aware, however real team names can't be used any more which is why I used a different label.

I'll be available as a driver as well. As I've already spoke with a few drivers within the series but still available 👍

Can SuperGT drivers name non-VRR members as their teammate?
Yes. They would still have to be either members of GTPlanet or members of the VRR Discord though.

Hi Eva, i'm interest to entering as a free agent but i don't realy understand your registration system (can i register? and in what category?)

You fulfilled the requirements for registering. As a silver rated driver, you have the ability to drive in either class depending on which team and entry you end up driving for.

Something people will need to be aware of when registering entries...all entry details must be filled out by the entry deadline, which is July 6th. Balance of Performance will not be posted until July 9th so the BoP won't be able to sway car choice decisions.

Adjusted the available cars for GT300. The GR Supra Racing Concept has replaced the FT-1 as Toyota's GT300 representative.

Gonna take a punt on the GR Supra for GT300. Now all that remains is to find a partner.
