After 1 week and 3 days of rallying at Great Britain, here are the following results!

With that, @ElementRacer and Toyota achieve their 4th win of the season, thus helping the Australian to overtake @TetsuKobura for the 2nd place in the championship and Toyota continue on the manufacturers championship lead. Will Toyota finally end Ford's championship dominance and win their first IRC title of the history?

Round #5 sees the championship reach a number of 56 drivers being classified. It is the most attended round of this year yet, as from 35 starters, 33 drivers crossed the finish line. The Rally Organisation is very proud of this feat and also, this is the most IRC Round attended, since the IRC's debut in 2018!

Next Round is on the same track, but this time in Forward: It will be on Sardegna Forward Gravel and it is the rally Italy. The round is set to start on 22-28 June.

See you guys on Round #6! :cheers:

Hello guys.

Due to a emergency from one of my family members, the Round #6 from Rally Italy will not be able to start tommorrow like planned. It will be set to start on Wednesday instead and it will end on 30th June.

Following Round #6's conclusion, we have completed the halfway of the championship! With the first part of the championship being completed, here are the results and standings after Round #6 as it follows:

@ZedNinetySix returns to a track where he had announced his return in last year, but unlike the last year, the british driver this time brings the 5th win of the season for Toyota. With that, Toyota is now 20 points ahead of Ford in Manufacturer's Championship. @ElementRacer has suffered his first defeat of the season, but still manages to reduce the championship gap to Pedro Harsk from 16 points to 8 points, as the portuguese driver couldn't go further than 4th place, the lowest of the season for Ford.

Sunday Harsk has achieved the 4th win in a row and 5th win of the season in R4 Class. With that, the portuguese Abarth driver establishes a new record of scored points in R4 Class, beating Sami Saukkonen's points from 2018 season.

Catarina Alexandra could not win the class R2 this time, as she was barred from the win by #42 Knutendre's Subaru WRX STi Type S '14 (9th overall). With this, the Toyota driver still chases Sebastian Dunkel's Lancia for the R2 Class Title Conquest and Toyota leads the Manufacturer's Championship.

Alfa Romeo has achieved the 2nd win of the season in class R3. The reigning R3 Class Champions managed to prevent Nuno Santos from achieving the 4th win of the season and also it is the very first time that the Toyota driver does not win class R3.

In TT Class, the winner was Jordan Brook and with this, the Australian driver is now with the same points as Francisco Fernandes, however, despite of them having the same number of points, he's in second place, as he has attended only in 1 round, while Francisco did attend 2 rounds.

Next rally is the 1st edition of Rally Bulgaria, which will be at 19-25 July.

See you guys for the Round #7! :cheers:

Round #7 from Rally of Bulgaria is now live at Circuit of Sardegna, Type A Forward and the run is set to be 4 laps long. Bulgaria also makes its debut on IRC Calendar, with its first edition of Rally. Due to an error, which says "19-25 July", the schedule of this rally has been fixed and changed to "19-26 July", as 25th July is in a saturday, while 26th July is in a sunday.

Round #7 is finished, Toyota achieves a 1-2 finish again! The victory from Zephan allows Toyota to extend its manufacturer championship lead from 24 to 28 points ahead of Ford, which is 2nd.

@Harsk100 and @ElementRacer are now tied on the championship with both 184 points, but it's the Ford driver leading as Eric Smith has less 1 round attended than Pedro Harsk.

@Fiona Rattray also scores her first championship points after narrowly missing out the points in Spain, Croatia and Belgium. Catarina Alexandra almost managed to score points, only to be overtaken by Alexandre Correia and Fiona Flowertoots. If this hadn't happened, it would have been the first time that 3 female drivers scored in overall championship points in just 1 round. But after an unexpected loss to @knutendre, she returned to class victories by finishing 30 seconds ahead of its 2nd placed driver in class, @LikeZero.

Christianne Harsk scores her 6th victory in International Rally Cup for Privateers and with this, the Mitsubishi driver might be crowned the champion in next round!

Round #7 also saw the champions on the following classes:
International Rally Cup for Under-21 Drivers: @ss3, USA, Peugeot and J&M Motorsports
International Rally Cup for Under-19 Drivers: @epic_apri_39, UK, Peugeot and MMRacing

Next round is the Rally of Japan at Kyoto Driving Park: Miyabi. The rally will be run at 23-29 August and the rally will be set to 20 laps long.

See you guys for the Round #7! :cheers:

Round #8 from Rally of Japan might be one of decisive IRC rounds for Manufacturers title, with Toyota leading the manufacturers Championship ahead of Ford.

The track is at Tokyo Expressway: Central Inner Loop and the rally will be set to 4 laps long. However, according to the real weather of Tokyo (today is raining in Tokyo), the rally will be set at 18:00 on the rain. That way, the Rally Japan will be the second rally of the season to feature wet track, with the first being the Rally of Belgium. And also, it will be the first time in two years that the Rally Japan will not have Driving Park Kyoto: Miyabi as a track.

Back in 2018, Toyota was leading the manufacturers title ahead of Ford and @CrazyJohn was leading the championship by 4 points. However, following Pedro Harsk's win, Ford took the championship lead. Ford and Pedro Harsk had ended with the Driver and the Championship Titles respectively and Toyota and CrazyJohn finished 2nd.

Now two years later, the story repeats itself, but this time with @Harsk100 and @ElementRacer. Pedro Harsk and Eric Smith are tied on the Drivers Championship points, but Toyota is leading the Manufacturers Championship.

Will Ford continue on the road to 3rd IRC Title? Or will Toyota finally be ending Ford's IRC Championship winning sequence and claim the first IRC title in its history?

Here are the results from Round #8, as it follows:

With this result, @ElementRacer is the new championship leader. Toyota leads the Manufacturers title with 7 victories of 8 rounds.

Unfortunately, there were two drivers who were penalized by wallriding:
Alexandre Correia
Wallriding 1 - Lap 2, Turn 1
Wallriding 2 - Lap 2, Turn 8
Wallriding 3 - Lap 2, Turn 11
Wallriding 4 - Lap 3, Turn 1
Wallriding 5 - Lap 3, Turn 7
Wallriding 6 - Lap 3, Turn 8
Wallriding 7 - Lap 3, Turn 11
Wallriding 8 - Lap 4, Turn 1
Wallriding 9 - Lap 4, Turn 8

Alexandre Correia is awarded a 1 minute and 30 seconds penalty (90 seconds).
The time without penalties would be 6'01.657

Mundo Meu
Wallriding 1 - Lap 2, Turn 8
Wallriding 2 - Lap 3, Turn 1
Wallriding 3 - Lap 3, Turn 8
Wallriding 4 - Lap 4, Turn 1
Wallriding 5 - Lap 4, Turn 8

Mundo Meu is awarded a 50-second penalty.
The time without penalties would be 6'08.881

And also, for very first time in two years, two Class R2 drivers have finished on top-10. Those were Catarina Alexandra, who has finished 7th overall and 1st in class and Sebastian Dunkel, who has finished 10th overall and 2nd place in class. That 10th overall is the best result of this season for Lancia.

Moreover, we already have seen one more champion on the respective category:
International Rally Cup for Privateers: Christianne Harsk, Portugal*

*Although that Christianne Harsk has won the Cup, Mitsubishi hasn't won the Manufacturers title yet.

Unfortunately, @Fiona Rattray wasn't able to attend the Round #8, but the Rally Organisation hopes that Fiona will be able to attend on Round #9.

Next round will be the Rally Austria on 21-27 September.

See you guys at Round #9! :cheers:

CHANGES TO THE CALENDAR
- Round #10 from Rally of Greece has been postponed and pushed 1 week forward. It will be starting on 12th October instead of 5th October and will end at 18th October instead of 11th October.

This change was made, since the Round #9 has ended on 1st October and it would not be fair for competition. And also, this will allow the drivers to rest and get prepared for Round #10, which will start on 12th October and it will end at 18th October.

Standings after Round #9 are still being sorted out!

After 5 days of working out on the points, here are the results of Round #9 and the standings as it follows:

upload_2020-10-6_10-28-51.png

There was some trivia during Round #9:
- @ZedNinetySix has won his 4th rally in a row. With this, he equalizes @CrazyJohn, @ElementRacer and @Miguelinho 's winning sequence. He is also one victory away to equalize @RacingHardTV 's winning sequence, which is 5 wins in a row;
- Chevrolet makes its debut on IRC with Esmeralda Baptista, while Citroen returns to IRC after 4 years of absence with Beatriz Pinto driving a Citroen DS3 Racing '11;
- There were 7 female drivers competing in this round and with that, it beats the record of number of female drivers in a IRC Round;
- Algeria achieves the best result finish with a 4th place overall from Malik Pathfinder, beating the reigning champion @Harsk100 , who had finished a disappointing 5th. With that, Nissan achieves the best result finish of the season, despite of failing to achieve the best podium finish, from what would have been its first podium for Nissan since 2018;
- The number of classified drivers in the championship has hit a new record. Compared to least year, 77 drivers have been classified. From 77 classified drivers, 40 drivers had scored points, while other 37 drivers did not score any point. This year, so far, there are 80 drivers classified in the championship. From 80 drivers, 32 drivers had scored at least one point, while other 48 drivers did not;
- Toyota extends its Manufacturer Championship leading gap to 44 points. If all goes well, Toyota might win the Manufacturers Title in the following round at Greece!

See you at Round #10! :cheers:

Round #9 from Rally Greece starts tommorrow!

This rally will be on Sardegna: Windmills Gravel Track Forward and the stage will be set to 3 laps long. If all goes well, Toyota might be crowned as International Rally Champion for very first time in history.

After 1 week of work, the standings after Round #10 are sorted out as it follows...

upload_2020-10-29_20-38-58.png

@ZedNinetySix has achieved his 5th consecutive win of the season, equalizing @RacingHardTV in number of consecutive wins and beating @mikey_2412 and @CrazyJohn 's number of consecutive wins (4 wins);
@ElementRacer has finished 3rd on the race, but he's 9 points away on being champion. To Eric Smith win the championship, all he needs to do is to win the Rally Norway, while @Harsk100 must not finish higher than 5th (Or then, Eric Smith must score more 8 points than Pedro Harsk);
Sebastian Dunkel has been crowned Historic Rally Champion with his Lancia with 2 rounds remaining, Christianne Harsk has been crowned International Rally Cup for WOmen Drivers Champion by 3rd time in a row;
Jordan Brook has suceeded Matt Hassinator and has been crowned TT Class champion with 2 rounds remaining. With this, Ford wins TT Class Championship by 2nd time in a row;
Troy Nettleton has confirmed that his Audi has been crowned as 2020 International Rally Cup for Under-19 Drivers Runner-up.

Toyota is very well set to win the IRC title, as it has a 52-point lead ahead of Ford. With this, Pedro Harsk and Ford are 1 round away to say goodbye to drivers title unfortunately.

Next Round is 2nd edition of Norway Rally, the penultimate round. It will be live on 2-8 November and will also be valid for Rally Trophy - Little Christmas Cup points as well. The chosen track is Fisherman's Ranch Reverse and the rally will be 2 laps long.

See you guys for Round #11! :cheers:

The Rally Norway starts tommorrow at Fisherman's Ranch Forward. Like the Rally Austria, the Rally Norway is set to 2 laps long.

Keep in mind that it is valid for both IRC (Round #11), Rally Trophy Truck (Round #1) and The Rally Trophy - Little Christmas Cup (Round #1).

Cars outside of IRC Regulations, including the Rally Trophy Trucks and the Rally Trophy Little Christmas Cup Cars are not eligible to score points for IRC.

The classification for this round will be divided on following sections:
- Rally Norway (Only IRC Drivers are eligible to score points in IRC);
- Rally Norway - Rally Trophy (Rally Trophy Cars up to 540 BHP and that can have dirt tires fitted in it. IRC and RTT Cars are also eligible to score points on Rally Trophy);
- Rally Norway - Extra (Cars which do not fit on IRC nor the Rally Trophy criteria).

The reason why of division of sections is to prevent confusion on the final classification and that way, it will be easier to calculate the standings after the round has been completed.

Here are the results from Round #11 from Rally Norway which is the greatest day for Toyota: After 4 years of failed attempts, Toyota finally ends Ford's championship title winning sequence and becomes International Rally Champion for very first time in the history.
And also, @ElementRacer becomes the first Asian-Pacific Driver and the first Rookie Driver to be crowned as Overall Champion in IRC's history with 1 round to go.
Sunday Harsk also achieves the title in R4 Class with his Abarth 500 after being the Runner-up class in last year with 1 round to go. With this, he suceeds Sami Saukkonen as R4 Class Champion.
@ZedNinetySix surpasses @RacingHardTV 's record and now becomes the driver with the most consecutive wins in just one season: 6 victories! With this, Zephan has been winning every single round since he joined Toyota last year.

Next round is Rally Germany on 5-13 December. The Rally Organisation is looking forward to see you on the track.

See you on Round #12! :cheers:

Round #12 is now live!

The final round is in. The track will be set on Nurburgring 24h layout and the rally will be 1 lap long. The final IRC Round will be valid for both Rally Trophy - Little Christmas Cup and for IRC points!
And also, there will be a Rally Australia, which will be a Rally Sprint. The difference between a normal IRC Round and a Rally Sprint Round is that the Rally Sprint Round will be only 1 lap long.
The Rally Australia is set at Colorado Springs Reverse and it will be valid for Rally Trophy Truck Points only. It won't be valid for IRC Points, nor The Rally Trophy - Little Christmas Cup points.

After a few weeks late due to Christmas and New Year celebrations, I have finally managed to complete the full IRC Standings.

The season has ended with @Harsk100 taking the victory on the final round, but despite of having failed to win IRC for the 3rd time in a row, the Portuguese Ford driver has saved his season on winning the Rally Trophy - Little XMAS Cup for very first time, two years after he had won his first IRC title. @epic_apri_39 has secured the best classification ever for Peugeot, an brilliant 3rd overall in the championship standings and wins the International Rally Cup for Junior Drivers, with @ss3 , both tied in points. With this, it's the first time that two drivers are crowned as Junior Champions. Because they both had the same position finishes during the whole season, then this is the 2nd Junior's Title for @ss3 , while for @epic_apri_39 achieves his first Juniors title. Congratulations!

@ElementRacer also ends the season in high: Speed Demon Motorsports ends HRSC Racing Title winning sequence and becomes the Team's Champion, 1 month after the Australian Driver had won the title. He will be remembered as the first Asian-Pacific Driver and the first Rookie Driver to win Overall Drivers title in IRC history. It is also Toyota's fantastic year, as the japanese manufacturer also had won both R2 Class Championship and R3 Class Championship titles with Catarina Alexandra and Nuno Santos respectively.

Fernando Metalhead, the portuguese Subaru driver has won the International Youngtimer's cup, relegating the german driver LikeZero to the 2nd place in the final standings.

The Standings are now available on Google Docs.

And also, some of IRC Drivers took part on Rally Sprint Australia, for an upcoming series, the International Rally Sprint Series, which is intended to run along with IRC. The rally winner was the Scottish Driver, Big Bro.

There were difficult times in 2020 due to Covid-19 pandemic, but despite of this, IRC has worked out on its way to provide the rally entertainment.

Thanks to everybody for taking part on 2020 IRC and the Rally Organisation is looking forward to see you on 2021 IRC.

Champions
Overall: Eric Smith/Toyota/Australia/Speed Demon Motorsports
R1 Class: Eric Smith/Toyota/Australia/Speed Demon Motorsports
R2 Class: Catarina Alexandra/Toyota/Portugal/HRSC Racing
R3 Class: Nuno Santos/Toyota/Portugal
R4 Class: Sunday Harsk/Abarth/Portugal/JRW Racing
TT Class: Jordan Brook/Ford/Australia/Warhouse from Down Under Racing

See you guys for 2021 IRC! :cheers:
