Difficult race for SCAR, as we had to use the slipstream effect around Monza to get both cars to qualify and in the race we where never a threat for the front runners.

Note to self: Tyres get cold, ice cold. So after that dreadful first lap dropping back to last, I had some good battles at the back of the pack. Never got a decent rhythm going though. Lots of things learned for the rest of the season.

I will be absent for race two with @Goodwolf as my replacement within the SCAR-team.

Monza now out of the way, we get the peculiar Blue Moon Bay Infield Road Course to look forward to, aren't you all so lucky? A few things to note as everyone begins preparing their entries for the weekend. First and foremost is the Balance of Performance, which has seen a complete overhaul to prepare for non high speed tracks. In the BoP table in the OP, there are now two sheets, one for Baseline, which will be in use for this weekend, and then one for Le Mans. Secondly, now that the season opener is out the way, rule 4.4.3. is in effect, which means the top driver from the top 4 manufacturers based on points are guaranteed a spot in the race. This is very fluid, and the drivers that are secured for each race can vary greatly. Now there is even more to work for. As usual, race confirmations are required by Friday, January 24th at 10:00 p.m. Eastern U.S. time.

I can safely tell you right now....

That Le Mans BoP needs work; more than you realise.

Put it this way... you have just guaranteed that the Toyota P1 wins on pace, strategy and longevity.

Le Mans BoP as presented in that table is certainly not finalized for anyone. Ignore it until I say otherwise.
