Hi everyone! Welcome to the 2021 International Rally Championship.
We are looking forward to having an another season of the Rally Championship! This idea of creating a rally series started when I was competing into a rallycross championship on GT6. That took me to host a WRC championship, however, seeing that it was complicated, it ended on being a failure. But while my old PS3 was broken and that I was still waiting for a new one, I already was planning to revive the idea of doing my rally championship and make it sucessfull, as there aren't very much rally championships which are sucessfull.
In September 2017, Pedro Harsk has stepped down as a GORO steward which ended the cooperation between GORO and GRC. As a result, the Rally Senegal was the last GT6 Rally Round under the banner.
Since then, it became International Rally Championship from 2018 onwards and it was also moved to Gran Turismo Sport on PS4.

The 2020 IRC contains 5 classes, the main Class being R1 (Gr. B Rally Cars), R2 (N300 Cars), R3 (N200 Cars), R4 (N100 Cars) and the TT Class (Ford F-150 Raptor). Since the establishment of new era of 2017 GRC, the Race Cars, Vision GT Cars, Prototypes and Supercars have been banned from competing on rally rounds. This year also marks of Trophy Truck Pick-ups competing on a rally championship for a third time. There will be 12 rounds, with 6 rounds being in Asphalt and Gravel each.

With that, the rally championship will become more realistic and fair without having to worry about the Race Cars.

If you have any question, suggestion or feedback, please let us know. 👍

Enjoy!

2.2.5- The runs must be made in a Online Lobby. However, they can be done in a Normal or Club Online Lobby.

2.2.7- All drivers, who had started the “Race Event” in order to set the best lap time for each special stage, must save the replay, so the Series Organizers can add the lap times.

2.2.8- If the rally has started and if you have joined the lobby to do your runs, wait for your turn to do the rally. There are plenty of opportunities to do the rally.

2.2.9- During a Rally event, a specific number of laps will be given to a rally round, which will be acting as a Special Stages.

2.2.13- The rally Rounds lap times must be done on Racing Alone (1 by 1), to prevent a Driver from ruining other driver's lap times: that way would be a 2nd driver interference and a 2nd driver interference is not allowed for the rallies! The mode will be in “Race” Mode.

2.2.14- After the participants have submitted their lap times, they are not allowed to submit the new lap times. Ignore this rule will result a penalty.

2.2.15- All drivers, who do the rally runs, must start from the 2nd grid row instead of 1st grid row. Starting from 1st grid row will not be acceptable and will result a 1 additional second being added to the total lap time.

Stupid question, for Round 1 (3º Rali de Portugal at Colorado Springs) it states there are 6 stages, am I to assume for this event we would run 6 laps for this Round?

Another stupid question, for each of the Rounds are we to run only 1 class or 1 car in each class per Round?

In Round #1, there are 6 stages, which means that we will run 6 laps for this round.

You're allowed to run only 1 car/class per round, but you can run a different car in each round.

After 3 weeks of waiting, the 2021 International Rally Championship season will finally start tommorrow.

The track for the Round #1 will be Colorado Springs Forward and the rally will be set to 6 laps long. It is also the return of Rally Portugal to IRC Calendar, after 4 years of absence: The last time that there was a Rally of Portugal was in 2017.

@ElementRacer is the reigning 2020 IRC Champion, so he will have to use the number #1 for 2021 IRC Season.

Round #3 is now finished, @ElementRacer achieves his first win of the season and becomes the second driver of Honda to win a IRC Round. The first driver doing so was Terror Dog in 2018, when he won the Rally Austria.

@epic_apri_39 mantains his championship lead despite of finishing 2nd on Rally Croatia, as @Harsk100 finishes 3rd. Peugeot is unexpectedly leading the manufacturers championship ahead of Ford and Honda.
