Important notices:
To streamline the WRS administration process, all required replays for this race must be submitted within 7 days. This thread will be listed as "Provisional" and will become "Official" once all posted replays have been verified. After 7 days, all drivers who fail to provide a requested replay will have their lap disqualified. (Beware: disqualification isn't taken lightly within the WRS.)
Drivers who do not have a submitted lap posted in the results are not to post any information related to a laptime they might have achieved in the results thread. Any such posts will have the times removed.

Replay Verification Requests:
This week we would like to see replays for all indicated results. All replays are to be posted here.

Instructions on how to upload your replay can be found here - https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showpost.php?p=3180607&postcount=2

Replay Checking:

  1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays
  2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications
  3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example
  4. If you are unsure about a replay, always seek a second opinion before posting

Well done to all the division winners and podium placers.👍

I can't believe I threw away a podium place last night. I had a potential 55.100 lap going but I made a mistake in the last corner and only clocked a 55.134 and as I was angry at myself I forgot to save the replay, so I had to stick with my second best lap as my submission.:ouch:

What a week to come back, after being out for a couple weeks! 👍
Thanks Vaxen/Kevin/Joost for all the amazing work week to week!

Congrats to the podium placers and all who met their targets. 👍

I spent over 12hrs on this one, and would have liked a better time, but consistently hit my submitted time-ish quite a few times, so I guess that's where I belong. Nice racing Tim and Marc, we were separated by about 5 feet at the finish!

Nice job, DHolland, on the best T3 (unimportant corner, my butt! :) )

Congrats to all division winners and podium placers 👍

Judging by the split leaderboard Spud and myself both had the chance to beat Dan this week, so much for the last corner being unimportant (Dan):sly:

I have to admit after seeing my split at T2 realizing I was on a good lap I choked  Dans last corner was pretty amazing though, so fair play to him. I lost just over half a tenth in the final corner, judging by that I think I would of just fallen short but maybe would of had 2nd place.

Fantasic time Dan 👍 at least one of us managed to hold it together for the last corner, .5 in T3 very impressive.

Congrats to Millross in holding off the tight competition in D2, great lap 👍

I will have replay put up tomorrow, very close call on exit of double left. Scrutinize at will

What a blast this week was and great to see that I finally made the podium in the GT5 WRS. Thanks for all those in D2 who did not participate I guess. :sly:

Great effort by all with times so very close. Even though this laps only has three corners, they are all a handful and getting them all together deserves a big hand for all of you. Thanks for this great last week of my vacation. 👍

Here is my PAL replay.

Btw, ignore my split times, because Fetchbot got confused when I posted example times on how to submit times below one minute (with a leading 0'). :)

D3 has become such a scrum it takes that much time to get on the podium each week (or in this case not even make the podium). Fun stuff! At least I led the splits board all week and I'm back to my time tested tradition of giving up leads at the end. :ill:

I predict D2 will get inundated over the next few months with D3 drivers getting promoted. May the battle flow over.

Thank you admins! You really came up with a nice combo that by the way does translate very well to online mode in spite of my earlier comments about physics differences... I tested it and Kevin is spot on.

Replay Removed (will upload good one in a bit).

I knew i'd done badly on the final turn, but I didn't expect half of D2 to overtake me  4 tenths off... It was very close this week, and there was a lot of quick guys out there, well done to all the Division winners and podium drivers :)

Heres my PAL replay: (If you want a good laugh, download and check out my final turn XD)

Awesome! Really happy with the D2 win, obviously. Will post replay up later.

Congrats to all the other podium finishers and guys who hit their targets. I'm amazed that I sneaked into D1 bronze territory for the first ever time, which is way beyond my capabilities 99% of the time.

@Plato - Cheers, your suggestion to run the event because of it being fairly pad-friendly was one of the reasons I started running it, hehe :)

My first time verifying a replay, hope this is ok:

Ever so slightly wide into turn 1, very close to the wall on the exit but there were no signs of any contact so I have no doubt it is clean :) Very smooth under braking, no loss of traction at all 👍 A very good lap :)

No problem 👍

Great lap time by the way, you were the main reason I had another go at it earlier than I was planning to. When I saw you were also running 40.3s I had to run for cover :sly:

Remains to be seen if my lap is deemed clean yet, who knows it might be considered dirty and you end up stealing the overall podium off me. I am pretty sure it's clean though or I wouldn't have submitted.

The controller was competitive around here this week, I think looking at T2 times it was very good through the double left, seeing as Spud matched me through there. If I would have submitted my time that was 1 thousandth slower it was still a close call with the wall, but it had a very posh 21.924 T2 :D

I'm surprised my bad T2 time (and the subsequent slow speed out of the double-left) didn't cost me more than one place (which was Denur's jump, anyway).

And I am particularly happy with my handicapped results, obviously... :-)

Replay attached - most of the lap is straightforward, I hope, and the last corner looks close from behind but a quick change into Photo mode should show that there's at least 30cm between the car and the guard rail.

Wow that was tight!
Great week everyone, and Congratulations to all who finished on the podiums
Easily the toughest week I've had so far 👍

D3 has become such a scrum it takes that much time to get on the podium each week (or in this case not even make the podium). Fun stuff! At least I led the splits board all week and I'm back to my time tested tradition of giving up leads at the end.

It really is heating up isn't it?
And cut it out with the final spilt business, It'll only give me false hope in the future

Welcome back Gravitron, and great work with the chart 👍, will be interesting to see the replays... where did that darn .2xx go?

Had problems getting the replay off PS3, hope it's ok

Whats you're guys verdict.... Guilty.....or not guilty, please judge don't come down to hard on me

Like I said it looks clean to me, but it's not for me to decide :scared:

Back end of the car i'm worried about, hard to see in photomode

My first time verifying a replay, hope this is ok:

Ever so slightly wide into turn 1, very close to the wall on the exit but there were no signs of any contact so I have no doubt it is clean :) Very smooth under braking, no loss of traction at all 👍 A very good lap :)
Thanks for checking mate, and the kind words. 👍 :)

I hope to get around checking some replays myself tomorrow.

Feel kind of left out. I'm the only one not listed in Gravitron's table. jk. Fun week, lots of really good laps submitted. Will post replay later

Oops, my script is hard-coded to look for GTP_ prefixes, which you don't have.
I'll manually edit you into place for now, but I bet Ealirendur's script would handle this better than mine...

Well done all podium guys 👍

Pretty close MilleRSVR, you might be on your own next week though :scared:

My replay.

Took it to the wire in turn 1 exit and the exit of the double-left

Best sector of the week in T1 was a .300, so 3 hundredths were left there, I had a .030 in T2 so 1 thousandth was left there and T3 was my best T3 - so all in all, .031 off a theoretical best is not to be sniffed at and won't happen that often and I guess I owe a lot to that kinda good luck for the victory.

Enjoy the replay :)

Well done to all the people on the podium and everyone who didn't give up trying to improve their times.

My PAL Replay (I hope I did this right)

Tidy lap and very controlled slight-drift through the double-left at 76mph, 1mph more than I did it at I think, almost as fast as is possible I would say. You certainly ran it close, but you did not touch - just a few inches away. Dunno what you were frettin' about petal ;)

Wow, very entertaining :)

Unfortunately, your Ken Block impression lost you a little time in T2 and you smoked up the tyres and lost a bit by braking a touch late into T1 - you didn't quite use all the track in the last turn either but it was a nice clean run in a pristine white mota and was probably a lot of fun :)

Who would have thought one corner would be this frustrating??!!

Congrats to all podium placers, division winners and of course thanks to the admin team for another great event.

Special mentions...

- Matt (Millross) - mate you were outstanding this week so your D2 victory was fully deserved, but to do it in a D1 time is just fantastic. Nice little handicap bump as well mate :sly:
- Plato - you were on the ultimate pace all week dude. Great effort and unlucky to be only third I thought
- D3 Podium (again) - it says something to the competitiveness of this division that you have to run a D2 silver time to win it, and even then only by 7 hundredths

I was happy with my lap this week. Matt was just on another level so I was never going to catch him. Joao and I had (another) great battle 👍 but I suspect that if I'd have run for another week I would not have caught Ash

 Thanks for checking, I thought it was very close to the wall but happy to see that it is clean. Most of my laps got as close as that when I got the corner right though, just a shame I couldn't execute the final turn as well as I had been. I checked some saved replays and noticed my best through there was a .592, but couldn't get it when it mattered.

Never mind though, happy enough with a podium that has now been confirmed.

Thanks again:tup:

Spuds always out to get me in the closing stages, great lap Spud and a deserved 2nd place. Unfortunate that we both failed to jump the final fence

Dan seems to have the "take no prisoners attitude" why does he have to be so consistent  Again great job Dan, hopefully there will be more close run events like this in the future :)

Which corner is that, exactly? All 3 corners spent at least some amount of time at the top of my "Corners to Bulldoze" list.:P
(I know, you probably meant turn 2...)

High-five from one 5th-placer to another! :)

Congrats to all Div. winners and podium finishers.

Good job NINE_HUNDRED, that was close between us.

Attached is my NTSC replay.

 Thanks Lucas.

Yeah, definately turn 2. The only problem with the last turn was remembering that you were on a good lap and to take a tighter line!

Back at you with a high forum five!!

Just noticed, what an amazing T3 by GTP_Unkymo 14.535  I think even Dan would have been proud of that, fantastic split wish I had myself one of those:D

Nice and clean 👍
Pretty tight through the corners, but for a week like this, it does help retain your sanity

Tim, looks like you've uploaded the wrong replay. It's the right event, but the time is off by ~.200.

Here's mine:

No offence to Unkymo, but I'd guess that his final submitted time doesn't "match" with his last splits posted to the leaderboard. My T3 table is all inferred from the Splits and Results pages on wrs.gtplanet.net, so if a user submits a lap different than what was submitted to the splits board, it becomes confusing/misleading.

Haha, yeah. I got a bit sideways going through there. Cheers for checking 👍
