Steward's Comments:
This is the site of my first WRS event, all the way back in week 112 of GT4. It's a very straightforward combo, everyone should be chasing tenths this week.

Viewing your T1 & T2 Time Splits:

  • You need to make sure you save the 'Save Best Lap Replay' (ghost replay), not the 'Save Replay'.

  • To view your best lap replay, go to 'My Home' and watch the replay from there using the 'Replay Theater' option.
  • While Viewing Your Replay, Choose the "Live Timing Monitor" To View Your Sector Times
  • To post your T1 and T2 Splits, simply post the sector times that are shown in the live timing monitor.
  • The WRS Fetchbot has been updated and will now add your splits together!

Standard Clean OLR Rules:

  • 2 wheels on (or vertically in line with) the track at all times
  • Rumble/ripple strips are part of the track
  • No contact with walls or objects, visible or invisible
  • If you're not 100% sure that your lap is clean, then consider it dirty
  • No hybrids
  • No cheating of any kind, these are relaxed races and we are experienced racers, we know what times can be done, and we can read your mind.We will know.
  • Nothing that goes against the spirit of the rules
  • Save your best lap/ghost replay

Submission:

All submissions must be sent by PM (Subject title: GTP_WRS Week 32 Submission ) to (WRSFetchbot):

  • Please submit your time in the following format on a single line:
    Time: X'XX.XXX
    (Example-)

    Time: 1'10.100

  • Users can ask the bot for the current submitted time by sending a message with the body: "get entry"
  • Users can delete their submitted time by sending a message with the body of "remove entry".
  • If multiple times are submitted, only the last submission will be counted.
  • Please include in your submission PM your final lap time
  • The deadline is Monday, September 26th 11:59pm GMT
  • If you are unsure of the deadline try this site

Why Use GMT?:
GMT is World Time and the basis of every world time zone which sets the time of day and is at the centre of the time zone map. GMT sets current time or official time around the globe. Most time changes are measured by GMT. Although GMT has been replaced by atomic time (UTC) it is still widely regarded as the correct time for every international time zone.

Time verification:

Save your ghost replay and keep it at least a full two weeks after the event's deadline:

  • Racers, named by the OLR Admin staff, (if any) will be required to submit a replay for verification
  • Any submitted time is subject to a time verification request
  • When a time verification has been requested, the concerned racer must provide the correct replay within seven days of the request
  • Failure to do so will result in the removal of the unverified submission from the results table
  • Video replays are not accepted as a form of verification

Looks like fun. One question is it Autumn ring reverse? or Madrid mini? You have both listed in the OP.

Sorry about that, another sloppy copy and paste error. Autumn Ring Reverse, as the pictures show. ;)

I assume it's Autumn Ring reverse as the pictures all show Autumn Ring and the link to week 112 of the GT4 WRS is on Autumn Ring reverse.

Never mind I'm too slow.

Think there is another 'sloppy' copy/paste about subject title... ;)
Should say 'Week 32'...

Then another question....
As this will be my first combo (after the qualifier), I just want to be sure how to post to the fetchbot...
Will it be correct formatted, by posting the 2 individual split-time, one on each line, like this:
Time: 1'10.000
Time: 1'20.000
Or should I write it like this:
T1: 1'10.000
T2: 1'20.000

For you're final time that you're submitting, it should look like this

Time: 1'xx.xxx

If you are just posting splits you post them on this thread like this

T1 xx.xxx
T2 xx.xxx

👍

When you submit your final time it will be:

Time: X'XX.XXX

When you post splits in the thread:

T1: X'XX.XXX
T2: X'XX.XXX

Edit: Tree'd by seconds.

I'll have to give this combo a run. I like the non-tuning events better.

Yes the proper WRS.
Fastest time with the same car:tup:

Should be fun in this Focus ST Volvo.

Hey guys. Thought I'd give this a try since the Sauber killed me. Did'nt even submit. Small g-force difference here I think. Leaving time everywhere but I'm gonna try n stay after it.

T1 - 23.014
T2 - 36.734

Nice to see you back Eddie 👍

Nice combo Kev, but I'm going to have to sit this and the next few out as we are off on vacation to the US of A to see family. Will keep an eye on the forum while I'm gone and cheer on my buddies :sly:

Will be back running in week 39

Way different from the Sauber C9 at Sarthe, feels like a whole different kind of game. The car just dont want to turn at first thru most of the corners was my initial thought and I was thinking some of Sidplayos dab of HB may be called for.

It was an interesting first session, my ghost would pass me thru a corner and grab about a 1 second lead then I would catch up and then eventually pass him by about 1 second and then he would beat me to the finishline. hahaha

These splits are with my DS3 but Im definitly looking forward to giving this one a go with my steering wheel. Just seems like it will be great fun to do with the old wheel.

after about 15 laps

T1: 22.763
T2: 38.009

BB 0/10

Really fun combo this one, especially through the esses.

T1: 21.295
T2: 36.741

👍 Yep, think I got it now...
Only submit Final time to fetchbot... not splits...

Thanks for clearing that out...

My groceries included a 6pack of Deschutes Inversion IPA, hence, I forgot to write down my splits. :dunce:

Thanks for that, Kev! 👍 Look forward to this one, as usual. Should be a hoot online as well, which we'll probably try to do on Sept 28 (see 3D3 link in my sig).

1st set of splits:
22.158
37.300

Hmm... It's a start I guess...

2nd set
21.598
37.531

Don't be fooled by the first split, I ruined it in the last sector :guilty:

Next
21.817
37.193
Just can't put 3 good sectors together...

Again
21.460
37.268
Decent lap, lot of tyre smoke shows I need to be smoother

BTW, anyone else find the 'bus stop' bit in S3 really crucial to a lap. If I screw that combo up I lose a lot of time at the line.

Looks like one of those tyre smoking combos :D

I will more than likely be having a go at this one, never ran Autumn Ring in reverse should be fun 👍

We seem to have an invisible leaderboard for this week though, or am I missing something :sly:

I haven't been to involved in GTP events. Anything specific I have to do to start this? I'm not in any division or anything.

Quite a change from last week. Lots slower, lots more tire smoke.

Early splits-

T1, 22.083
T2, 37.736

T1: 21.420
T2: 36.808

No, my wheel is still broken.:(
My times won't be D1 competitive so I'll have another goal now. Watch out Matt and Tim.:sly:

Think I'll be giving this one a go, I might have to bust out the wheel and get some practice on it, once I have put down a benchmark time on the pad. :P

Hi guys,

Very nice combo.

Did a first quick session today.

T1: 21.634
T2: 37.306
