Our very own Hyper-Dan owns an R32 just like the one that's currently available in the online dealer. It's a nice drive here, have fun. 👍

Viewing your T1 & T2 Lap Time Splits:

  • You need to make sure you save the 'Save Best Lap Replay' (ghost replay), not the 'Save Replay'.

  • To view your best lap replay, go to 'My Home' and watch the replay from there using the 'Replay Theater' option.
  • While Viewing Your Replay, Choose the "Live Timing Monitor" To View Your Sector Times
  • To post your T1 and T2 Splits, simply post the sector times that are shown in the live timing monitor.
  • The WRS Fetchbot has been updated and will now add your splits together!

Submission:

All submissions must be sent by PM (Subject title: GTP_WRS Week 43 Submission ) to (WRSFetchbot):

  • Please submit your time in the following format on a single line:
    Time: X'XX.XXX
    (Example-) Time: 1'10.100
[*]Users can ask the bot for the current submitted time by sending a message with the body: "get entry"

Why Use GMT?:

GMT is World Time and the basis of every world time zone which sets the time of day and is at the centre of the time zone map. GMT sets current time or official time around the globe. Most time changes are measured by GMT. Although GMT has been replaced by atomic time (UTC) it is still widely regarded as the correct time for every international time zone.

Time verification:

Save your ghost replay and keep it at least a full two weeks after the event's deadline:

  • Racers, named by the OLR Admin staff, (if any) will be required to submit a replay for verification
  • Any submitted time is subject to a time verification request
  • When a time verification has been requested, the concerned racer must provide the correct replay within seven days of the request
  • Failure to do so will result in the removal of the unverified submission from the results table
  • Video replays are not accepted as a form of verification

OLR Team

Nice little buzz bomb for this track, I can see this being a fun combo w/ a AWD to tweek for the week 👍

T1: 39.554
T2: 34.655

I shouldn't have any problem finding some GTP_'s in the top 256 this week I think

Had a 20 minute go at this.
Randomised settings.

38.570
34.928

Can't wait, this looks even better than Gee Tee Eye!

Was wondering if anyone would notice that all I seem to be able to pick for this track are European hot hatches. And 2 out of 3 are Volkswagens, no less.

Hey everyone. Thought I get back in WRS after missing 40+ weeks of it.

As much as I dislike time trials that allow tuning, I decided to join in anyway. Only had time to do a few laps:

T1: 39.295
T2: 35.083

A *little* understeery, but not too bad, considering all I really did is drop the back end.

50/50 torque
5/4 BB
Ride height: 0 / -20
Spring rate: default F & R
Camber: 2.0/1.0
Toe: 0/0
LSD: default F & R
Tranny: max speed to the left, final drive so the top speed in upper right is 145mph

Did a small run to gold (other car) on that event yesterday, I'm really no good at it.
Will probably submit a very bad time, but car and event seem interesting for a minimal try.

Yes Vince AWD is always challenging on a tight street circuit, needs a little more fine control than my limbs will allow, so I’m in the same boat as you on this one. :ouch: whoops another barrier.

Phillip.

I actually did try yesterday with a car with the same basis the Audi TT. Did not like it and went for another car, but driving that R32 was on the program anyway. You should not always walk the easy path.

After 8 laps:
T1: 38.605
T2: 34.225

T1: 38.196
T2: 34.226

T1: 38.257
T2: 33.902
Love this combo Kevin.👍

I need a constant eye on the map to make sure which turn is comming next

Shift up at about 5500 RPM
Don't think it makes any difference. I'm shifting at the redline and compared to my ghost it's not making me any slower.

I remember this one! ;) No internet atm but I already have one so I will practice up awhile. :)

No permanent Internet connection here yet (tethering to my phone and hiding from the carrier) so I'll have to skip. I have fond memories of Madrid and Golfs though!

This car can be powerlimited up to 547BHP in the tuning screen (shows as 246BHP in the car list). Is that ok as long as it meets the regulations?

T2: 34.046

No, I think 301 hp over the limit will give you an unfair advantage. :sly:

I think you meant 247 HP.

Yes, you can tune it to that, and there's no way for us to verify. I think it's one of those odd issues with the different HP measures that the game uses, not entirely sure.

I think when Kevin tries to enter the TT, it says it is limited to 246HP.
Our (EU region) TT is limited to 250HP.

I noticed this in the 3D3 races too. When Tim set the lounge limit to (e.g.) 255HP, to me it said 260HP.

There's a difference in measures between regions, not sure what's different though. Maybe HP vs BHP?

I guess you can just set it to max to enter the TT Wes.

Yes, I meant 247 BHP.:dunce:
I guess that's a difference between regions then.

Maybe it's because the car has run over 15.000 km and the engine is wearing out(?). Means I have less torque but more BHP(?).

Tuning is a work in progress. Just working the suspension at this point.

First splits.
