Replay Checking:

Tough week but I must say I have enjoyed it, so difficult to string good sectors here. I didn't plan on doing this event but I had to, I love rally and this week has made me finally learn Chamonix!

Catching you was never going to happen, what with you leading by seven tenths already at T1. Outstanding first sector. Even with my best sector times put together I would still only just about draw level with your lap, and then we're both still half a second behind Wes.

Thanks guys, that was the toughest combo I've done, at least 12 hours that I worked on it, and that was just over the weekend Seeing Duck's splits really made me sweat, and I knew that if I wanted to win I had to come up with the fastest splits I could do. My T1 wasn't the best, but my next 2 sectors somehow went perfectly (for me) and I managed to hold it together with a solid T4. It's a good thing I did that, because my next fastest time would've been between Raven and Duck. I have to say well done to those guys, they kept the pressure on throughout that combo, and deserved to win D2 as much as me

Congratulations to Blair and RaceRyder for their D3 and D4 wins, and of course Wes for the overall win, some insane times but we've come to expect that from you now In fact, the D1 guys really showed their strength this week, I could not get anywhere near them after T1/T2

I've read the upload and download guide but cannot seem to get replays over to my PS3. I'm going to take week 48 off and take the time to sort the problem out so I can start doing my share of NTSC verification.

Nice lap, particularly for a DS3. As close as it gets in the last turn of sector 3 Even closer than me and I cut it pretty fine... I can't find any actual touches so I'll call it clean but if anyone would like to double check, feel free.

Edit - See viper's pics below. I didn't manage to catch any instance of contact myself but viper's pics clearly indicate where contact should have occurred.

Thanks. This was definitely not how I wanted to start off I thought this combo was going to be a lot of fun, and it was, but I think it's a combo that widens the gap between those that could put a lot of time into it and those that couldn't. Between practicing for a new series and my son's swimming class being at the same time I normally would be playing, I probably had the least amount of time to run this event than I have had since I first submitted my qualifier. Hopefully I'll have a better showing this week.

That's the spirit, Diabolical. 👍 When I started almost a year ago, I had the mindset of "Submit every week!", but as I've improved my handicap, I've started being more selective. Congrats on giving this week a try. My only clean lap from before engine-breakin would have put me firmly in last place. 👎

Actually the worst D2 last sector belongs to me. Trying to match others on the leader boards for the first three sectors, I was struggling to keep it clean. By the time I got to the last sector, I didn't want to push it too hard and risk losing an otherwise clean lap. This week should go much better since I'll have a bit more time to work on it, plus the laps are shorter, so I won't be worried about wasting over 3 minutes each time I tap the wall.

You were pretty close on the last turn of sector 3 but you didn't touch the poles as far as I could see and the rest of the lap was clean as well.

Really? I know it was close but I was quite sure it was clean, there was definitely no wall contact. When I checked the lap on the replay, I did not see the car go through the poles either.. sucks to get red-flagged because of a dodgy mirror and that is twice in 6 WRS combos, what a horrible record.
