Steward's Comments:
This is the second installment of our 10 year celebration of the WRS. This week, we're at the location of the very first WRS, Trial Mountain. This is a great combo, and our first tuning combo at Trial Mountain on GT5. Have fun!

Viewing your T1 and T2 Time Splits:

  • You need to make sure you save the 'Save Best Lap Replay' (ghost replay), not the 'Save Replay'

SaveBestLapIcon.png

  • To view your best lap replay, go to 'My Home' and watch the replay from there using the 'Replay Theater' option.
  • While Viewing Your Replay, Choose the "Live Timing Monitor" To View Your Sector Times
  • To post your T1 and T2 Splits, simply post the sector times that are shown in the live timing monitor.
  • The WRS Fetchbot has been updated and will now add your splits together!

Submission:

All submissions must be sent by PM (Subject title: GTP_WRS Week 105 Submission ) to (WRSFetchbot):

  • Please submit your time in the following format on a single line:
    Time: X'XX.XXX
    (Example-)

    Time: 1'10.100

Why Use GMT?:
GMT is World Time and the basis of every world time zone which sets the time of day and is at the centre of the time zone map. GMT sets current time or official time around the globe. Most time changes are measured by GMT. Although GMT has been replaced by atomic time (UTC) it is still widely regarded as the correct time for every international time zone.

Time verification:

Save your ghost replay and keep it at least a full two weeks after the event's deadline:

  • Racers, named by the OLR Admin staff, (if any) will be required to submit a replay for verification
  • Any submitted time is subject to a time verification request
  • When a time verification has been requested, the concerned racer must provide the correct replay within seven days of the request
  • Failure to do so will result in the removal of the unverified submission from the results table
  • Video replays are not accepted as a form of verification

From what I remember from the last time I drove this car, all be it many moons ago, it was a massively understeering dog, so I'll be interesting to see what tunes crop up for the old girl.

Run in my car and it comes to about 446bhp I have all the parts installed from the OP. I'm I missing something?

446 BHP is the right number.

546 is a typo,I checked the TVR in my garage,446 it is.

Thanks, Sjaak.

I forgot to credit you for the combo in my steward's comments.

100% credit to Sjaak for the combo concept this week. I decided to use it for our WRS anniversary, but cheers to him for a great idea. 👍

The car does understeer in fully stock form, but a little tuning will take a lot of that out.

I'm away from home for a few days, but will do my best to build a tune and post it before next weekend.

Hour session to get it part-broken-in

16.600
26.287

Had some 5s in sector 1. Sector 3 was terrible on this lap.

461bhp, 7/9 BB, No rigidity improvement.

First go and it appears as if I have a lot of tuning to do, I did an initial guess setup that should make it oversteer like a pig but it still understeers!

Initial Splits:

16.499
26.215

Also, only at 436bhp as I forgot to change oil before I did RM

Great combo, just getting started breaking in my tvr.

Was just wandering though, last time I ran trial mountain here in wrs in week 52 (mount maserati) we posted the first 3 sector times. Do we now only post the first 2, and the last 2 splits are kept until results?

Am starting work on a ds3 tune, will post it if it works out.

We use T1,T2 and T3,

Editing the Op.

Yep,in the Mount Maserati WRS we used the three T times.

Again a small copy paste error,....sorry guys.

Another improvement, made brake bias more rearward and added toe out. Including T3 this time...

New Splits:

16.233
26.110
21.691

EDIT: The leaderboard hasn't picked up my times yet, it still has only 2 sectors on it

I'm at 121 mi and I'm still 8hp shy. What's the mileage to hit the break in point?

I also didn't see that we were suppose to run it through the race shop to convert the car to RC but the OP Pic inferd that we do. Am I blind, or just reading too much into it? :dunce:

180 miles is break-in point as far as I know.

I'm currently breaking in a Speed 6 I RM'd at the shop so that's my assumption.

300KM is the break-in point, so in mph it's about 180 - I'm not good at converting from kilometers.

As for the oil change, I believe that gets done with the Race Modifications. Could be wrong, but every time I RM a car, it won't let me change the oil after. Should I change it before I RM? Will that make a difference?

I think max hp is 446. Hopefully a typo?

Mine is only up to 441bhp so far but not sure how many miles I have done, would guess at about 30 laps round trial mountain

In the tiltle is the name of the car,TVR Tuscan Speed 6 RM '00.

RM stands for Race Modification.

So yes,the original TVR has to be converted to a TVR RM.

What about Aero - it says N/A but it has fully adjustable front and back downforce.

The Aero comes with the RM pack, you do not have to buy it separately but ofcourse may use it.

Still don't know why my submissions are being rejected . . .

For the splits you just put it on here like you've done. The submission is just for the final time only. You have to submit exactly like is said in the OP (Time: X'XX.XXX) otherwise it will be rejected. You don't submit the splits via PM

Also note that the minute second is separated with an apostrophe (') not a colon.

The leader board still isn't working for 3 splits, I guess I will have to wait until it is to post my new splits.

Just post them anyway so everyone can see them, you don't need to wait for Fetchy. The leaderboard will update with the first two for now and then all of them when its sorted.

It doesn't seem to pick up the first 2 splits if you post all three at once though... here goes...

New Splits:

16.297
25.898
21.634

I think the LB itself would have to be updated to pick 3 splits

We have been told that we need to post first 3 splits though so I guess we will just have to do that and hope that they can fix the leader board soon :)
