Kind of suprised here... Altough there were not many contenders this week, I did not think I would have such a lead in the division, expected Majed to be all over me But I will take the division win anyway Happy with the negatative handicap.

Sorry Ghost, very marginal but dirty on the exit of Blanchimont.

• Tarmac and Red and White Rumbles are Track.
• Nothing Else is Track.
• Concrete, Cobbles and other surfaces found outside of rumble strips are not part of the track.

As you can see you are just outside the white line, and have just come off the rumble strip at the bottom of the picture. Just a few inches too far. Other than that, nice lap 👍

Don't be discouraged, Ghost; I certainly know the feeling of not having enough time (haven't myself for a while), and was impressed you gave it a shake.

<beware anecdote follows...>

I put in a bit more effort than I have for an even longer while on this one, mostly because I had no clean laps I was happy with - but most of the reason for that was that several were dirty in places I hadn't expected (got too much turn in for the chicane once and put a wheel over the rumble, for example). Once I got on the grass on the run up to Blanchimont for no sane reason at all (other than maybe fatigue). One lap had perfectly good splits, but the agonizingly slow "Z" after going too long for the chicane was not something I wanted to put up for review I had one vaguely acceptable lap (already 1AM or so) that I couldn't save because I'd forgotten to exit after a faster dirty one "Lay on, MacDuff...."

... and I sorta did say "Hold, enough" when I got a lap at 2AM, even if it hadn't met target

tl;dr </anecdote>... again, who else am I going to tell ?

4/6 is what I used, I should have experimented with a higher rear brake balance but to be honest I really couldn't be bothered as I dont have much patience. I thought the lap would hold up, but serves me right for not putting more time into it.

I used 2 / 8 , and still struggled to get the car to turn in and found that i had to coast into corners which was quite annoying . Well it is a pretty impressive lap , i only had a hour to put in before the deadline so time was not on my side either but for another reason .

I'm sure you will Smash the next TT though ...

That's the most underwhelming winner's celebration I've ever seen, particularly considering you've just beaten one of the fastest guys in the world and probably the fastest in the UK... I've never beaten James and I can guarantee I'd make some noise if I did. It takes more than a few extra hours to pull that off, too.... and you've never shown this kind of potential before. You should be ecstatic and you don't even seem surprised.

Sorry, WOOP WOOP!!! No, I am very happy with my result. Almost speechless to be honest. But I think the biggest emotion I had was relief, I think the wife would have killed me if I'd have spent that much time on it and didn't win I think it was about 35hours of track time in total, about 20 of that chasing 2 tenths. In James' defence, if he'd have spent as much time on it as I did, I wouldn't have stood a chance of winning.

Spa is a circuit I really love, I've been racing around it since 1997 on F1 games, and quite a lot in GT5 so knew the track very well. I also got a hang for the car almost immediately. So right from the get go I knew I was there or thereabouts.

However much I want to carry on winning TT's, I don't see it happening just yet. I think this will just be a freak result with a combo I really liked and suited my driving style.
