Golded both. 1'23 on Monza and 1'07 on Brands. There's more room to improve on both but I'm good for tonight. Still lots more fun to be had.

Achieved them with the wheel and it was very fun. I'm naturally a better controller player though so I wonder if I'll ultimately post my best times that way. Although the faster the car the better I am with the wheel (only managed GT5 Vettel golds with wheel).

1.24.x and 1.06.4xx. Monza was relatively quick, Brands took me maybe twenty minutes. There's a heap of time left in both of those, at least another three seconds and it wouldn't surprise me if the aliens went 5 seconds faster than me.

I can't be bothered pushing to go faster. It wasn't that much fun, the car understeers like a pig.

Nice, definetly going to try and gold them at some point

They're not easy but I wouldn't say they're overly difficult. Brands was much harder than Monza and took me many more tries. It's really about finding the safe zone within the car, and adapting to the newer tracks as well. Sometimes it's better to switch up to 3rd gear before accelerating away. I found exiting the end of the first chicane at Monza that way was better. But either way you just gotta be soft on the throttle. Sometimes just lifting a tad can save you from a slide. I noticed that at the first left hander at Brands. But if you work on your entry you can take that corner flat.

yea I've got a lead foot, that what kills me.

Sorry if its posted somewhere and i missed it. (tired from waiting and its late), But how many credits was awarded for 1st place in the events?

All 4 Senna TT's gave me 4-4.5 million credits while the servers were offline, so over 9 million if you're doing it with the 200% log in bonus.

Awwww I did not think about that. Thank you for the information. I may hold off on the TT's until the maintenance period is over. Should just be a day, right? But than i won't be able to drive the new cars unless i purchase them first. Geez what to do.. hmmm

Stage.1 Stowe: 59:752
Stage.2 Brands Hatch Indy: 42:925

Stage.3 Monza: 1:24.056
Stage.4 Brands Hatch GP: 1:07.094

And I'm sure I can do better so I will try to beat those another day.

👍

Managed these times with mah DS3:

Monza 80's: 1'23.491
Brands Hatch 80's: 1'06.850

Monza wasn't really that hard, I just had to not only stop cutting the first chicane but also had to completely unlearn the modern Monza I have so many miles around. Once I did that (and grew some balls), I was able to nail it. Brands Hatch was by far the most difficult, I had to somehow manage to be aggressive but at the same time keep smooth and it was a very hard thing to do with this car still spinning its wheels in 3rd. but I managed it.

DAP Kart
59.849 @ Stowe Circuit 0 TC

R3
44.815 @ Brands with 0 ABS and 0 TC

97T
1:22.063 @ Monza with 0 ABS and 0 TC.
1:06.686 @ Brands with 1 ABS and 0 TC.

Brands in the 97T was the toughest for me personally.

Times were run with a DS3, no TC and ABS to 1.

97T
Monza: 1:20.822
Brands Hatch: 1:06.129

R3
Brands Hatch: 42.439

DAP
Stowe Circuit 59.036

There's definitely more time on the table at Monza as that was my first full lap without ending up in the gravel traps. ;)

Man those events are brutal, 1.09.394 at Brands Hatch for me, Pretty poor truth be told considering that was with aids on that car is an absolute monster and it shows how big and hefty Senna's balls were to drive that thing.

After seeing the replay, Not bad considering I locked up going into Paddock Hill Bend, Druids and Surtees.

I'm suprised at a few people's kart times compared to their, say, time at Monza. I ran into the 58's on my very first try.

Are people braking for any of the chicanes at Silverstone? I took them completely flat, I was a little suprised I wasn't DQ'd as I literally took a straight line across them. In comparison, my Monza time was relatively poor even accounting for it being just a 2 lap run, didn't feel like I was that bad there but apparently I was. :sly:

I took the chicanes pretty much flat out, I could break into the 58's with a better line around the hairpin and the final section.

I'm not completely surprised regarding the time differences at Monza, car tried lighting up the rear tyres on me coming of the Parabolica, in 4th gear no less.

Hopefully a sub 1:20 lap is possible by the end of today. :)

hey guys I have a question when you guys done the Ayrton Senna special events did you win the cars by any chance ? l

No doubt it is, but I'm not going to try in the TT event, the stock setup is too understeery for me. I tweaked the lower gears, increased the front downforce and reduced the rear downforce in free run and churned out a 1:14 in a few laps, using ABS1 only. You can make the car handle great with 30 seconds of tuning.

ok I didn't that's all
