Replay Checking:

  1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays
  2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications
  3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example
  4. If you are unsure about a replay, always seek a second opinion before posting

Nice win, McsQ. Congrats to the podiums and the negative handicaps on this new track.

Now, how did I get a negative handicap, especially with an implied move toward D3G? I'll take it, considering I won't have one next week.
 
Finally had the last hadicapped spot. Really couldn't adapt to car or track the whole week. A more serious effort probably required. Well we live to race another day...

Happy to grab another win, even though I left over 2 tenths out there... My first corner alone had most of that :lol:

I apologise in advance to whoever checks my replay, it's a bit messy in T3 but clean!
 
Happy with the result my first D1 podium but not completely happy with my lap lost 0.2 in turn 2 another 0.1 in turn 3 and was no where near on the limit in turn 8&9

Congrats to @mcsqueegy great win and all who managed this highly technical track and a big shout to @Turok134 great D2 win and over all 3rd place .

Aside from a little moment out of turn 3, very smooth for DS3 user 👍

It wasn't until I loaded these up that I realised the car's colour could be changed. :dunce:
 
I'm lucky to escape with such little damage to my ratio this week. I lost a whole second in the last sector :ouch:

Congrats all! Nice times up top, didn't expect the winning time to be quite so far under 1'26.000, thought a 25.9 might win - guess I needed a little more in T3 as well as the lost time in T1

Happy with a 1.7xx HC result, happy with my overall time - until my last run I was languishing with a .433 so got a nice improvement at the death :)

Hopefully my early setup provided a good base for you all to change, improve and then win with :D :lol: :cheers:

I think I know why that is... The USB drive I used had problems when i transfered pics from the PS3 to the PC recently, saying the files were corrupted when i opened them. Perhaps the same thing has happened with the replay file :guilty:

I can upload my replay off a new USB to this thread if that's allowed?

I could check that provided it doesn't crash and verify the replay.? is identical (that part is likely not corrupt based on fetchy behaviour).
 
Interesting, now I plug the same USB drive to the PS3 it says 'unknown usb device connected'

Anyway, here's same replay zip from a new USB (without custom graphic just in case that had something to do with it)

I am definitely pleased with a top 20 finish. Still though, after looking at the replay I could have gotten into the gas a half second or more on every corner, hit the apex a few more times and really been competitive. It seemed frantic while driving, but on replay it looks lethargic.
 
I checked the md5sum of all 10(unpacked) files. Leaderboard has 52a96ebce2d3d0533895a03b6b1b9e41 REPLAY.0 , this here has the same 52a96ebce2d3d0533895a03b6b1b9e41 . Looks like PARAM.PFD was indeed corrupt, whereas the PARAM.SFO were identical.

It's a clean lap from GTP_McsQ although from the ten I checked, it's the closest call. Replay was stopped 27 times in third sector. Lucky!

I'll leave it to the stewards to green light this ad hoc procedure.

@crowhop: I don't recall any lethargy from *your* replay.

Pretty stunned that I got a negative handicap this week. And actually pretty happy that I finished 20th.

Was not my favourite week, I really struggled with the track - it's not for me I don't think - although the car was fantastic.

You ought to be quite happy - that means you did a lot better than your normal handicap here.

As for @mcsqueegy's replay, I'll try to append the two PNGs in the replay uploaded here to the version from Fetchy.

All credit goes to @Turok134 for his tune. I added some camber to his tune because I found it to be smoother, but my time with my own tune was a full second slower.
 
Replacing the ICON0.PNG in Fetchy's version of @mcsqueegy's replay with the "stock" one allowed me to load the Fetchy version of the replay.
