So, one day I receive a call from Franky, the mag's editor: "Dude, you got your camera already?" -"Yeah, it roxorz"... I had just bought the XTI, had not ven tested it yet but it rocked hahaha, so he says "Then go test it with some goofy car" and gives me the phone number of the owner of this thing.

So, this is the very first photo shoot I did with the XTI, and it shows, it was the first time I grabbed the camera and I just didn't know how to manage it well, I even spoofed the ISO settings on some pics and, as it was not stabilized, some pics are even blurry because I was used to shoot with the S2.

So bear with that, it's just a part of the process of learning how to use a Camera; Franky sent me to practice with this car because it was nothing really relevant, altough it attracted attention as few cars I've ever photographed; the bad thing: we met the guy at 6:30 am and spent an hour looking for a location; an hour and a half later, he had to go!!! so these were done in one and a half hour (normally I take about four), so there are not many good shots, but come on, it was my first shoot and for an hour and a half, it's pretty decent.

So, the car is 05 Mustang GT dressed to look like a 69 Boss 302, complete wth number, matte black stripes and trunk and spoilers.

The engine is stock save for headers and that pansy BBK intake, it should spit about 350 hp.

The shaker in the hood doesn't shake of course, but the guy made a hole in it and then added some kind of mesh underneath, so it's functional to... well... I don't know. The shaker picture was taken by my wife with the S2.

Wheels are American Racing Shelby Special Editions in 20 inches or something like that, with Eagle F1s; brakes are stock -_- and it was lowered, tough I dont know how.

The interior is stock save for the Hurst shifter; I ussually dont shoot interiors in the sun because of the extreme contrasts, I do it on open shade, but the guy had to gooooooooo so this had to do.

As I said before, my wife goes with me and also shoots the cars, and this time she was not pretty motivated because it was dead-cold in there, so she didn't shoot a lot, but she did shoot the best picture of the set by FAR, this picture rocks and of course, everyone told me about it at the editorial:

So here it goes, I will post each and every photoshoot even if it isnt so great or the car is a piece of trash; post somments and feedback and all that, you know how that is.

Maybe it's just because I made lettering like this for about 7 years so I notice things like this, but that is a terrible lettering job. You should never be able to see the white between the black and red.

Maybe when he had the decals put on he was in a hurry and had to gooooooo. :P

Once again, nice shots Cano. As for the being a noob with a camera, I've been in that boat, too. I was given my boss' then brand new Nikon D80 on a Sunday afternoon and told to go take pictures Monday morning of a job we did to be submitted for some awards. No pressure there...

It is terrible, I also noticed it, it was obvious it was sooo badly done, but then again, look at the car and that explains it all -_-

The rims look so weird, especially in the second picture. They're probably at least two sizes too large.

Erm...what's wrong with the car apart from the lettering?! I'd kill to have something like that! I suppose it's because we never really see them in the UK, but still...

Good work, right from the top. I've got two little gripes though.

The first is pretty minor, and I don't know how easy it would be to fix. The rubber of the tires seems too grey and bright compared to the wheels. It doesn't seem natural to have the tires so much brighter than the rest of the dark parks of the wheel well. Maybe post-production darkening or that tire shine oil?

The second one is possibly because of my monitor, but the low light really flattens out the orange paint and removes any sort of contrast. There's no value in the paint, it's almost entirely flat orange. It just seems all really burnt out facing the sun.

Overall great stuff, nevermind my complaining. The first two back-end shots are great and the rolling shots worked out pretty well too. I like 👍

Great Lighting!! Great shots in general. Very clean, unedited shots for the most part. Love the angles, and composition in just about all of them. Nice work!

both of them are caused by the low light indeed, I tried to shoot the car earlier but the guy showed up late and thus the sun CAAAAAME on the way to the location; I liked the light but it was too much, I would have liked dawn low light.

thanks for the commentaries everyone, as for the car, I really like how it looks but it lacks performance upgrades... heck, brakes for goods sake!
