I don't think so

After watching a replay, it sounds no different from that.

It sounds like One-77 now.

Just took it out for a drive and it does sound different :odd:

Weird how I didn't hear it in the replay from earlier this year but only after going and trying it out.

Edit: @FrzGT Trying the GT3 cars out, will update when done.

Tried them and none sound any different.

Gonna try the Prototypes, not expecting anything good.

Man they did wrong again !
The Ferrari 430 scuderia sounds like an 458...
The 430 series are completely wrong...

They've changed the Enzo and now the scuderia

Would you say they sound somewhat good? Sorry for all the questions , i'm at school and got no way to check it myself.
The Audi R8 sounds very good to me. Others are better. I didn't like that metallic grinding sound, and now it's gone. The sounds have more ...windy noise. I don't know how to describe. xD

Can't wait to download the update and test the cars that have had their sounds changed. I am clicking that huge "Watch Thread" button at the top left page, so that I can keep track of all the cars that have had their sounds changed. :)

Since the LFA sounded quite good and you could hear that V10 roar, i tested out some other V10 cars like the Gallardo and the 5.2 FSI quattro V10 R8 and both sound great to me i can hear the v10 roar on both.

But would you say that the sounds are brand new or tweaked existing sounds?

To me it sounds like they heavily tweaked some existing sounds and replaced others with existing sounds, i'm not sure about sounds being completely replaced with new ones.

The stock version of course without any tuning
Meh, I always install the racing exhaust first on all cars to improve power. It sucks that changing exhaust can completely change the stock sound as if it was a different car with different engine.

Challenger R/T '70 sound changed btw... (racing exhaust sound)

It looks like they're fiddling about with the existing samples, which is odd. You'd think with the development of AES they would be focussing more on getting that up to scratch.

Oh well...

Edit: Actually, it sounds more like the the sound engine (as in, the method through which the sounds are played back) has been tweaked, rather than the sounds themselves. I've tried a number of cars (Corvette C7, R8, new NSX), and they all sound clearer and crisper, with less of the buzzy, hissing noise.

I think that was the main focus, as opposed to actually changing specific cars.
