Replay Checking:

  1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays
  2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications
  3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example
  4. If you are unsure about a replay, always seek a second opinion before posting

I only just discovered that the warning the console sometimes gives when copying foreign saves (replays!) isn't without consequence: not usable as a ghost. :indiff:

Thanks @Thematic

Is that Kevin's (EDK) hidden split correct?!

I'll check your replay tonight if nobody had checked already by then.

I hand calculated and showed it should be 45.836, so I just edited it in his post.

Why is this still happening in the 21st century? :mischievous::P
It helps when there's no power. And it keeps you sharp. My daughter is in 6th grade and I don't allow her to use a calculator at home. She has to work her math out with pencil and paper. I'm old school though.

Well, funny thing is that when I said "By Hand", I really just meant that I was not using a macro or spreadsheet formula, or Google Doc, or whatever.

Instead I popped up the calculator on my laptop and subtracted out the splits.

If the math was a little simpler, I probably would have just done it in my head.

I'm not averse to hand calculating, but I was in the semi dark, drinking my morning coffee, without a pen and paper handy..........

@EDK Not funny, that's how I interpreted it. But that may be because I go straight to automatons if I think I am not getting the answer by "doing nothing" faster, or close.
