Took my unckle's truck out for a spin today, this truck is bad ass. It's fun to make the tires spin and the back gets swirrely and you have to countersteer twice to get it going straight. It's a damn powerfull truck. I can't wait for when I get my Ram SRT-4.
:trouble:

Those new Hemi powered trucks and SUVs are powerful, but they sure aren't very quick. I easily smoked one with my 140hp. That Hemi engine is all about torque.

i dont like your signature. BMWs motors are clearly better. look at f1, and look at some s14 race motors. 2.5liter, 400hp.

nissan: king of "made sklyine so lots kiddies like them"
honda: king of honda beat and honda insight, hahaha
mitsubishi: king of over aggressive bodywork
subaru: the beauty of allwheel drive
toyota: king of 250k mile rusty workhorse commuter

I agree with you. That is a very biased signature. Declaring all of these asian companies to be the kings of all classes. Needs some more research.

I was gonna say that, But everyone is going light weight now, what with the wider use of carbon fibre.
But no-one does suspension as well as Lotus

Yeah but with the new Elise coming to the States with the 190 hp Celica GTS engine, I think they have reclaimed the throne to lightweigfht and fast :D

Yeah you can probably burn them to 5 mph, but 10 feet doesn't count on the straight.

lol, "the back gets swirrely"? Do we have ourselves a redneck?
We still need confirmation, are they talking about trucks?.... *looks up* ... Yes.. I do believe we have one...:D

Cancelled - thank God. Can somebody remind me why people enjoy two-wheel drive performance pickup trucks?

Because they're only quick up to about 40mph, they get whorrible gas mileage, and they're as aerodynamic as a brick? Oh, and you can haul the boys around to go do some late night cow tippin'! Yee-haaaaaa!:odd:

Hell, I don't know.

yeah, I was gonna say that precisely. I will yank the hemi off that truck, and put it on a ****ing dart, thank you.
yeah, I want an odd car. a Dart.

Cano

I drove a couple HEMI trucks and they do have alot of low end torque, especially the 5-speeds, I could hit the gas and it would have no lag

well i like all trucks. i like performance and off-road. but i wouldnt use a new dakota to off road. id get a peice of crap with a good motor and jack it up.

Probably the only reason they have these trucks is so that they can peek into other peoples cars at the stop lights and boast how powerful and big their vehicle is.

Not everyone who has a truck is a redneck. And there is a market for sports trucks. I'd love to have a Ram SRT-10, Lighting, or SS. People who want to go fast yet can't afford a sports car or they just need something bigger.

The new Rams are nice though. I think the Hemi is a tad overrated if you ask me. They were better back in the day. I haven't driven one yet but I have been in one and I rather liked it. Wouldn't be my first choice in truck.

Also I doubt someone beat a truck in a 140hp car. Well maybe in the long run but it wasted you off the light. Trucks always will beat you off the light unless your pushing a ton of low end torque.
