5 Second Penalty - What A Con!!

Does anyone else think this 5 second penalty is a load of old tosh. It's not as if the Hard level special condition races are easy (particularly the ice ones).
If that's not bad enough, I've had numerous occassions when the AI car has hit me yet I've been penalised!
Con!!!
ps. any tips for beating the Ice races? 👎

Er, yeah this is in the wrong forum - race reports should be detailed descriptions of a particular race, not general complaints.

But, I do find the 5-second penalty system irksome at times too, although I've never had any real problems with it except for when an AI car broadsided me and I got penalised... Then again, I shouldn't have been there anyway !

I suppose that it does add to realism, because in the real world you would be dealt a time penalty if you made hard contact with another car.
