They are in Montreal, Canada.

But the cars were removed from there a few weeks after those pic were taken.

I've seen those cars before, I actually used to drive by there all the time. That lot under the bridge belongs to a very wealthy guy that owns a bunch of dealerships (including a huge facility that sells only Lamborghinis and Lotii), he's also the owner of a huge classic warehouse that was in the process of being rebuilt/enlarged at the time. None of those cars were actually abandoned, in fact I think most of them have been restored and are currently for sale or have been re-sold.

I was doing a Google Streetview trawl yesterday in SW L.A. and found a couple of things that might suit the thread. Nothing amazing, but still interesting. Okay to post them here...?

Go ahead and post, dude!!! Anything goes in here, this kinda stuff is always interesting to see.

Also, GOT DAMN with the RS200. WHAT. THE. HELL.

for a change of pace in this thread, it's nice to know those Canada cars are safe and sound. The panoramic Cadoo had me in tears.

Today's dose:

That bike would make any front lawn look hella nice in its rusty form... minus the torn-up saddle..

I will never understand why anyone would just leave a car, rare or not in a barn or just outside to rot.

No, I'll never understand people like that either. :boggled:

Also just on you're earlier post RocZX. GTO, Superbird, Beetle and especially that lightweight 300SL. What an absolute waste. :(

This thread is an outright tragedy. I'm rather annoyed I live in Australia atm because the importation fees even the rusted wrecks would be astronomical. I would be even tempted to sneak up and grab one of those Cosmo's or that RS200 in the dead of night. None of these cars deserve this fate :(

Is that a kubelwagen? from GT5! :dopey:

Damn, this barn has a variety of cars!

Yes that's a nauseatingly rare Kübel. And speaking of nauseatingly rare VWs...

Story on the car: itwas taken to an island in the middle of a lake as a postal service car, something broke and the car stayed there. When it was found there was no other way to take it out of the island but like that.

and a bonus...

Yes, I know it was cruel. So is the next post, these are some of fhe most nature-consumed cars I've ever seen, and they are all beautiful:

You know if we had half the money that is wasted by those we laugh at in the questionable modifications thread, we'd have these cars saved an on their way to being restored.

ahh, for almost all of those, you would be better off buying a restored sample....man that's sad. Especially that Traction Avant.

This makes me sad, such a valuable car, gone to waste. :(

Let's take a turn towards such stuff:

I could go on and on...

Quoted for truth. Seeing a few cars that would be worth $250,000+ today, rotting away makes me depressed. A Charger Daytona? A 300SL? Junk? I don't think so. It sadly seems that other people do, though.

That post alone gave me a tingeling feeling in my left arm, and gave me pressure on my chest.

If restored, those car would go for at least 1.5 million.
