Yeah i also can't wait for miura. Looks amazing.

Overall i think AC has currently best modding scene and it is not even out yet.

This blows my mind for example (look behind wheel O.O):



I can see already custom skins for it coming so every car will have proper dash for it :D
 
Love the Lippo Village Street Circuit track. It has really good flow. (video of it in the video thread :D)
 
I really really want to learn to make tracks for this game. I just did a track day at a local club track and would really like to get an advantage for that track. Unfortunately I have no skills and no idea where to start...

It doesn't go into detail on the 3D softwares, but that's something that you will probably find a lot of tutorials for on YouTube.

Also my idea of heaven:D So grateful they included a track map, it'll make it easier to learn the full course that way. I've traced the route on Google Earth before when they announced the never delivered Course Maker for GT6. Looks pretty good too considering the size of the circuit and the sheer scale of the project.
 
Couldn't have used more generic music for the trailer... Mod looks amazing though! Can't wait for it, it's almost like a real add-on.
 
Yeah, the brake sound is ridiculous, I don't think I'll be able to drive the car until that's fixed. Steering rotation feels like 900º which I don't think is correct for a racing car. If you put the AI in this car they get very confused and don't go full speed until they get close to the first timing line. :dunce:

 
Brake sound doesn't need fixing. Check the video thread here and see real cars examples.
That being said, the modder has another sound pack to download for those who don't like that. Check his blog again.

That's a bit irrelevant isn't it? Real drivers would have a helmet on and ear buds in so they wouldn't be too bothered by the squeaking. I don't sim race with a helmet or ear buds and I found the squeak almost painful, to the point it made me not want to touch the brakes. I enjoy some good brake noises, but this was overkill.

I have yet to get a mod from that FB page that is worht the time it takes to d/l. They gather mods from all over but don't curate them or give you any info on what works and what doesn't so you get some terrible mods.

That 787B is fantastic. A mod group tried to make one for rF2 but couldn't get it right. These guys nailed it. It's not perfect but it's close :-)
 
787B...looking forward to trying it. Would like to see what elMariachi could do with making it sound a little more on the edge though:confused:

The 787B is superb, having a blast at Monza with it, needs a feather touch in 1st gear! Message for Johnny, managed to get the 599 sound back, was told to delete GUID file in SFX and then do Steam integrity check.
 
My god, I love the 787B. Such a high quality mod.
Although, am I the only one who thinks that the sound sounds a lot like a V8 F1 car? :D
 
Car is great. Only problem so far for me are overheating rear tires that make it hard to drive. But the mod team said they will look into it.

Had the pleasure to race in a server yesterday with the 3d model creator :P

Like a real Lada, it didn't work from the first attempt. I had to tweak something to make the setup validable.

There's also a racing version. Not so interesting though.
