Additional Top Gear track variation for top speed testing or drag racing

Here's another idea. If possible, I'd like to see different variation of the Top Gear test track.

I'd love to be able to use the entire length of the runway as a drag strip or to test top speed and car settings out. We can sort of use it now, but there are cones that we have to knock down and we only have access to only part of the runway, not the entire length.

You won't be able to max your top speed on most cars though. I think the runway is only 1.7 miles long. But I would like to see drag races on it. Plenty long for 400 and 1000m races.

Really what I'd like to see is standing starts, reasonably priced cars, and the lap board from the show in game, so you can compare times.

Oh, and replay angles that are used on the show.
 
Yes. I definitely want that runway in the game. Anything other than SSR7 to test top speed would be good enough.
 
Yup, that runway is awesome. I use it all the time for online drag racing and to test out top speed. It's very wide and flat which is perfect. The SS7 is much narrower and i believe its only 2 or 3 lanes. Whereas with the runway on Top Gear its can easily fit around 8 cars or more. All they need to do is just remove the barrier in the middle.
 
I'll go for that!!! I think we should get the ENTIRE airfield for a practice stage. Remember the Gymkana in GT4? This could be a Huge version of that. All it needs is the entire space thats ever used in the show. And the ability to use the LOT in Multiplayer. Not just racing, more like... Free Roam?

Just imagine 16 supercars blasting down the straights and going around that thin road(which looks like a pretty awesome speed course)
 
One minor addition... if they unlock the full track, turn off the "Wrong Way" icon that flashes when you turn around.
We know we're going the wrong way, it's fun!
 
Exactly what I'm talking about guys. This would truly be spectacular if they release this variation of Top Gear Test Track. That track is amazing for doing top speed runs back n forth on the runway. I agree if this were to happen, please remove the "wrong way" symbol.
 
Yeah! I mean what's the meaning of that "Wrong Way" anyway? Most of the tracks look so different backwards that you'll notice you're going the wrong way in seconds at least.
Anyway i'm a huge fan of Top Gear too and it would be fantastic to have the ability to drive down the long runway testing out the cars performance and do all kinds of stunt driving.
And the standing start should be possible in any track so that you could compare the lap times more accurate.
Also i would love drag racing if that was added to the game. Imagine online drag racing against the whole track width of diffrent kinds of cars...:drool:
