I have now about 385 cars, and I want them all, so I can tune them and challenge my friends with uber cars (I do have drems of some cars in the game)

Sorry if I write quite funny, but i'm from finland... and that's all what I need to say for excuse :)
 
Since I start over a lot I never have many cars, but I make it a point to never sell a car, unless I have a duplicate. I can see getting some of the more interesting models just to have but I don't see buying 30 different Skylines just to look at them. I guess my way of doing the game is to have as few cars as possible to run all the races, which is still a lot because of the manufacturer races.

Oh, and your English is way better than my Finnish... :)
 
I own 1 of every prize car available (and one each in every color that PARTICULAR model comes in) except the RX-8 Concept Type II that you win in license test. No one I've ever met has gotten it in anything but yellow (though I know it comes in 6 other colors!) All except the MG F's are brand new, no mileage, never been entered.

I even have the super secret day 694 black cars.... with NO MILEAGE! ;-)

Can we say obsessive-compusive collector???

So what your trying to say is that you have all of the black/carbon fibre cars with 0 mileage on them, or do you mean you havn't driven them since you purchased them. To the best of my knowledge it's not possible to have 0 Km's/Miles on any second hand cars, only 10Km's/6Miles (Sorry if the miles are incorrect, I use Km).

Even the 1971 Dodge Charger Super Bee 426 Hemi in 'Gold'? I won that car in seven colours before giving up hope of ever owning one in the colour i want... Gold.

There is someone out there with all the cars - it may pay to have a search around for a while.

I remember on another thread someone said they owned all the cars, and that if anyone wanted any comparisons or information to ask him 'cos he can check it out for you. Don't know who or where, but search around and you'll probably track them down. :)

I have a feeling it may have been in a horsepower thread or maybe a favourite car thread...
 
Like I said, not EVERY car. Just every car you can win in a race. In EVERY color it comes in.

Which color did you want that Dodge in? Gold... Gold Metallic... or Heritage Gold Metallic??
 
For anyone who's interested, I have an EXCEL spreadsheet with every prize car listed in every possible color. It lists race, race type, prize car, number of races, number of laps per race, what car I used to beat it, minimum times for missions and licenses, and a handy dandy matrix that has track lap and mileage info for every series crossed with the total number of laps per track required to get 100%.

For instance, you want to know how many laps on which tracks it takes to win Boxer Spirit. Got that. Or how many times you'll have to drive around Apricot Hill during the course of the game. Got that too. (32 laps.... 76.80 miles total). Total mileage not counting enduro races: 3912 laps on 50 tracks for a total of 10328.88 miles!

It's color coded for new, used, and "secret," and it's all ORIGINAL WORK. I checked every detail myself for the NA version.

So you wanna know what color? Oh yeah, got that too. ;-)

Just plain old 'Gold'. Tho 'Metallic Gold' sounds sexy...

I just remember the day I was buying muscle cars. I got to that one, took fifteen minutes picking a colour and then noticed I couldn't buy it. :ouch:
 
I'm pretty sure there are about 550 total prize cars (counting every color they come in and including the 4 all black no mileage ones I have). Of those, I have 544. Missing 6 of the 7 RX-8 Concept Type II's.

Right now, I'm working on putting them in the order they appear on my prize listing and by color they appear at dealership in a newly started game. (My race card is very messy with all the junk I've had to run to GET these.)

I'm playing to collect all the cars : what's the point in having a game with hundreds of available cars if you end up driving always the same ones ?

Even if I wonder who can catch the difference between a car and its previous year's model ...
 
@OCD Collector: I don't doubt you have the black LMP cars with 0 mileage, but I would like to know how you got them. Cheat device? No offence, just that they are used cars and used cars will only ever have 10kms minimum, so there must be a trick to getting them with 0kms that you aren't telling us 👍
 
Now I have at least 436 cars :) But I can't believe it that these Black Cars are available with no km? I use kilometers too, I just don't know is there old mini cooper in the game :(

I'm not speaking for him, but I have them too. How did I get them? Yes, I used a cheat device. Then I bought them from that card so that I actually still paid for them (which is more than the used car price they are listed for) so I feel that I paid my penance.
 
950+ (link in signature) with MANY hand-picked duplicates.. I do not have some special prize colors or very many 10k/m cars, though.
 
I have two saves - the first has almost all the cars (But not all the models, like I have a 3000GT but not all the years and all three models) - 704 cars

the second (my A-spec save) has all the cars including special colours, all the models (including ALL the skylines) and a few duplicates that I like to mess about with. I sat down with a car list and made sure I got all of them - including the '87 Skyline Gts-R, Nissan 240RS road car, solid black Ford GT and all the "Black Beauties" - 879 cars.

Have I increased my total sadcase rating?
 
I have about 650 cars, just need to buy a few more Skylines and then some of the more expensive race cars. I also still need to win some of the cars from the Liscence Tests, the Driving Missions and the rally races.
 
I have a good majority of them, as you can see in my sig :) Most of the cars I don't have, are ones that are won in Mission Hall and the License Tests.
 
I'm not sure how many cars... I'll have to look, I haven't played in a while but it's probably close to most. Anyway, it's probably the biggest collection of All Black cars (no hybrid obviously so not ALL are black just the ones that come that way) in which I'm equiping with black rims/ polished lips. I need to get those damn black LM cars too. :banghead:

yeah ... me too, got 'em all ... for quite some time now ... My garage contains about 820 cars at the moment, there are some double ...

Check the list in my signature for arcade cars in PAL...
 
Have you guys tuned them all too ? I spend lot of Cr to tune them, when tuned, I go and buy more and more cars to tune, none of them will be safe from my tuning :)

And I do also collect spesial colour cars, but I don't calculate identical cars for 2, only one even if diff color :sly:

example Subaru 360 buyed and prize (Prize car is same colour than my Polo G40 but still I calculate them only one car)
