Two more from the used car lots to find: The 240RS and the '68 Mazda 110s.

Could take a while.

Other than that, a few prize cars and a couple dozen race cars I can't afford yet.

As far as I know, there are 729 distinct cars. (The Prima game guide lists 721 but neglects to list the 7 Peugot cars and the Mazda MX Crossport on its checklist). So my goal is to have one car in my garage of each. If it's got a special color, that will be the designated representative.

Thank goodness for B-spec, otherwise these endurance races would be impossible for me!

I, too, am missing those two rare historical cars.

I got both the Mazda 110S and Nissan 240RS street car. The 240RS took some days to eventually get. The 110S, have to win a certain One-Make race or regular event. Not a big deal. Wow... now I'm the one sounding like a hard ass!

But yeah. Find the GT4 Prize Car List to know where to get both cars. If not included, they can be found in the Used Car lot. You dig me? Speaking of dig, welcome to GTPlanet, Ron Diggity.

The 240RS? That's that Nissan that's in Classics isn't it that's not for sale?

Thanks, I've been lurking for a long time.

I'm up to 480+ cars unlocked, 55% complete. Started with the '91 Lexus SC300, which I'd use to win and rewin the Turbo cup. This gave me enough money to get an '89 Mazda Miata which won a bunch of races, even winning the Japanese 80's cup to unlock the Mitsubishi HSR-II concept. This one was my horse for the longest time, and if I was ever in need of cash, I'd just run the HSR-II in the two-lap Seattle course to win 10k over in the Tuning cup. But I just won one cup after another and methodically began unlocking cars.

The cars getting a lot of miles at the moment for me are the CLK Touring Car (for Nurburgring and the Touring Car tournament), the CLK-GTR Race car, a black Toyota GT-One LMP, and a yellow/black F1 car.

I need to go through to all the dealers and just buy a bunch of cars, especially since it will make combing through the Used Car lists a lot easier.

I have a 100% complete save for the Japanese and the PAL versions of the game which I admittedly took short cuts to produce (AR codes).

HEy,

I'm at 87.4% complete with 700 cars unlocked in Arcade Mode and only 21 prize cars left to unlock as far as I know (mostly Special Conditions Hard and Extreme Hall, some Licence cars and 2 from the Mission Hall). That would give me 721 cars unlocked plus the Sileighty and Auto Union which don't seem to show up in Arcade Mode so 723 total.

In GT mode I have got all the cars you can buy new and used and am only missing 21 prize cars. Thankfully I won't have to do any more of the German Touring Car Championship or El Capitan enduros in B-Spec anymore! Must have spent the best part of 2 years game time collecting all the new cars.

So back to proper racing, trying to get golds and passing Mission #34!

The full NA (NTSC) used car list was really helpful at the start, first goal was collecting all of the cars you can only buy used.

Maybe I am mistaken but I thought that there was only 721 cars available in the NA (NTSC) release in career mode.

Hmmm maybe I will have to check some more lists to be sure

Right now I am at 679 cars and all of the ones left to get are prize cars (some of which I will most likely never get i.e. gold lisence cars)

Mmmm, Tornado Alley is right, 721 in total makes sense since I just counted the official car list from the US GT4 site.

I guess the Sileighty and Auto Union are counted in the total of unlocked cars you can see on the Arcade Mode screen but you can't actually select them???

Still 21 cars to go...

Got the '67 Mazda (L110A) 110. The list I was going by has a '68 Mazda (L110B) 110 listed. That's the one I'm missing. Yeah, I just need to keep checkin' the lot for the elusive 240RS. I heard it comes around twice yes?

Clarification? You have all the colors each car comes in??? Or am I reading into that?

I know the Mazda RX-8 Concept Type II that is won for all silvers in the license test comes in 7 colors. NO ONE I've ever talked to has ever gotten anything but yellow.

Haha - no. every car in every colour would be an awful lot of cars - I just mean that I have special colour versions of the prize cars that you can win in special colours - the Triumph Spitfire (maroon), the 2CV (peche), The Subaru 360 (blue) the Yaris (Pink) and the Ford GT (Solid Black and Also Solid Silver) - in addition to the "ordinary" versions. By the way, if you don't buy the "Striped" GT from the dealer and only win the solid one from Premium Sports then it won't be unlocked in arcade mode. weird.

The hardest 3 to get were the 240RS (missed it twice), the Skyline 87 GTS-R and the Lancia Delta Evo Road Car (In White).

66.

edit: the 240RS comes round twice - Famine has a thread with the PAL used car database if you search for it.
