ROUND 12 (WEC ROUND 6) PRE-RACE POST

Track: Fuji Speedway F
Track Time: 08:00 (Qualifying), 12:00 (Race)
Race Length: 79 Laps (Approx. 115 Minutes)

Date: November 9, 2019
Lobby Opening: 22:00 UTC
Qualifying Start: 22:30 UTC
Race Start: 23:00 UTC

Penultimate round of the WEC series and the finale for the P2 class, and with the championship now at a much closer state, it's now a straight fight between the CJ and Sinyster. In the P1 title fight however, Storm still stands a chance to put a dent on Xephos' lead ahead of the finale at Le Mans. With a fast Fuji Speedway combined with the fastest classes, we're in for quite the race.

Lest everyone's forgetting, here are the usual reminders for the race:
  • Everyone has free choice on starting the race on either Racing: Hard or Racing: Medium tyres.
  • Using both compounds is optional but all cars are limited to only one set of Racing: Medium tyres.
  • When a car suffers Engine Damage, regardless of collision with another car or from a single car accident, drivers are required to indicate "D" in the in-game chat.

NOTES:
  • Due to their entries conflicting between two classes in this round, @StigsTC will need to choose which class they will compete in for this round.

ROUND 13 (WEC ROUND 6) PRE-RACE POST

Track: Circuit de La Sarthe
Track Time: 12:00 (Qualifying), 15:00 (Race)
Race Length: 36 Laps (Approx. 2.4 Hours)

Date: November 16, 2019
Lobby Opening: 22:00 UTC
Qualifying Start: 22:30 UTC
Race Start: 23:00 UTC

After months of racing we've finally reached the finale. One final race at the one track that has endurance written all over it. The P2 championship was decided prematurely at Fuji, but the P1 and GTE titles are still very much going to be fought to the end. We've all got this far, let's make this final race of AEL's inaugural season one to remember.

Key points to remember, as always:
  • Everyone has free choice on starting the race on either Racing: Hard or Racing: Medium tyres.
  • When a car suffers Engine Damage, regardless of collision with another car or from a single car accident, drivers are required to indicate "D" in the in-game chat.
  • The race will start as soon as the in-game Rolling Start countdown ends.

NOTES:
  • Due to @Sinyster fielding a separate entry for LM, his entry under Dragon+Razor Racing will now be taken by @TNR_5zigen for this race.
  • All drivers who are looking to update their liveries must state their intent here in this thread.

News regarding the race.

Due to the P1 being sparce and a couple of the entries not being able to race to the flag, the decision has been made that the Lap Count will be set to GTE running for 2.4 hrs.

The P1 competitors will wrap up their race at approx. 75 mins after the flag has dropped and exit the track once 23 laps have been completed.

Please also note, I would like to amend the following:

Track Time: 12:00 (Qualifying) , 15:00 (Race)
Race Length:
36 Laps (Approx. 2.4 Hours for GTE)

P1 results locked in after Lap 23 and will leave track once Lap 23 is complete.

Race Start: 22:50 UTC
