Oh, you started using Sidekick, Brandon? Right on...if you ever have to re-install Windows remember to backup the Sidekick user folder too. Otherwise all your P.Best times go bye-bye - it happened to me just this past weekend. :banghead: Although, Content Manager is integrated with SideKick now and CM & SideKick feed each other lap time data which is totally awesome...so, as long as you backup at least one of those program's user data you'll be good to go.

x4fab is going wild with adding new features lately. I really like the 5-Star Rating system he added - especially to use with the mods you can remember which you liked and thought were quality and which you thought were poop.

I really love the new Lap Times tab in the upper-right. Switch it from Recent to Table and you see all your cars' best lap times for each track. Select one, right-click and you can go right to the track with that combo if you want to try and beat your best time at that track. You can sort by Car or Track or Best Lap Time. So great...not to mention everything he's done with the CM Showroom. It just blows the stock Kunos showrooms away.

Highly unlikely to happen since current year cars are generally only allowed in the official title from Codemasters.

Good point. I'm banking on 2 things that we can get the SF70H this year though:
- Liberty Media isn't as strict as FOM was regarding licensing
- Ferrari has a special relationship that allows them to license their cars regardless of what FIA says

If that doesn't happen, I'll just wait till next year. In the short term Automobilista is also releasing a mock F1 2017 so that will satisfy my needs :P

Mmm I always forget that.

@LeGeNd-1 Have you driven that hybrid Formula car that people seem to love?

No I haven't. I'm not a fan of paid mods in general because of a multitude of reasons, so I'm gonna give it a miss. Reviews and videos are very tempting though.

Remember the person who's doing the reboots of abandoned Assetto Corsa tracks? I think he released a few more. I didn't have release dates, but I didn't have the last three in the list on my system. So, check it out if you've been happy with his work. I spent so much time on Imola 1972 early this morning. :) I had no idea what to expect, but that thing is a FAST layout. The Mazda 787B was my weapon of choice. Even on Medium compound tires I think I was pushing the G-Meter...I'll definitely be back for me. 👍

The 3 tracks I believe to me "newer" from the tracks posted a couple of months ago:

Imola Gran Prix 1972
Oesterreichring 1979
Kylami Grand Prix 1967

Oulton Park -- This circuit was part of the original rebooted tracks, I believe...anyway, it was just updated 4 days ago. So get your butt over to the website and download. Download NOW!! :D

Thanks bro! Was totally unaware of this!

I can't believe that I was unaware of the Need For Speed project with @A3DR, @aphigod & @JCoates. As if that project isn't awesome enough, with the Lamborghini Diablo VT, Ferrari TR512, Dodge Viper RT-10, Chevrolet Corvette (C4) ZR-1, Porsche 911 Carrera (993), Acura NSX, Toyota Supra & Mazda RX-7 (Last two will be the Kunos builds). On top of all that greatness @A3DR will be producing 2 additional Lamborghini Diablo models. I think both the SE30 and SE30 Jota, but I'm not 100% certain if those are the ones. I really wish one would be the Diablo GT, but that would require massive changes to the 3D model which he's trying to avoid.

The Testarossa is finished as well, but I don't have screenshots of it yet. 👍

I just DLed Kylami and it is awesome. It was the only part of Automobilista that I actually liked  and now I have it back! You gotta love the Marlboro banners on the grandstands, lol. Love it!

Thanks for the tip

Did you have any screenshot of the 993?
And yes please let us aware on this fabulous project!

Has anyone tried those yet?
Grand Prix 1937 includes 5 teams from 1937 season, all drivers liveries, different physics, driver animations, and sounds

I'm curious as well. Saw it posted on Facebook, but then saw comments about physics and shaders requiring work.

Oh god! Do not pay for any mods from those shady bastards. They used ripped models for some of their mods. If you want to try that 1937 Gran Prix mod let me know and I'll give you a copy. My copy fell off the back of a truck. ;) Just a general disclaimer, before you put any money down on any mods - unless we're talking about approved Race Department mods - please check with me before throwing away your hard earned money. I know $2 or $3 seems like nothing...but it also encourages their shady behavior. :grumpy:

This one is hard to resist:

you can find it here
Sweet! I love the classics. Did you happen to download the Ferrari 250's that got posted this week? I grabbed both, but I've only driven the Ferrari 250 GTO. It definitely drives better than any previous 250 GTO, but I have a feeling the official 250 GTO is going to drive differently when the new Ferrari DLC pack is released.

Yes got them both, nice work on those even the animation is good , more important than ever now that I am a VR addict, they also drive better than ever, the perfect ride for some of the many roads we have coming from them mod community, looking forward to drive them at the up coming mille miglia.

I was just reading the Need For Speed thread. Both A3DR and Aphigod believe that the Lamborghini Diablo VT is the very best work they've ever done in the their respective areas. A3DR for the modelling/animation & Aphigod for the Physics. As soon as I read that....well, I felt exactly like the women in this video who also just heard that news about the Lamborghini Diablo VT.

Just came across that through a video-link at RD, I'll have to give it a go if I find time this week. 👍

Going to need to warm-up my right-hand first, been awhile since I drove something with a shifter. (:scared:)

Wow this track has certainly gotten a great update now. Looks great, and feels great also! Really great surface detail with nice undulations and bumps. I had a blast with the Ford Escort.

Speaking of bumps: I tried the Sebring track with a field of GT3. Holy bbbrain mmmmassage! It's completely crazy bumpy. Please don't tell me that it's like that in reality? If I race there every day I suspect my wheel's life expectancy will drop by 50%! :scared:
