Audi's Quattro became a huge part of world rally history when it introduced four-wheel-drive as a competent and necessary element of World Rally cars. The S1 was one of the most extreme of these and this Sport Quattro was the homologated road-going version of it. These cars became the holy grail for Audi enthusiasts and only around 200 were made to satisfy requirements.

S1 was based off of it, in case anyone was confused by the name and slight appearance differences. Love this thing and want it bad!

The '82 wasn't the Sport Quattro, this is the Sport Quattro the Group B cars were based off of. That and the '82 isn't even premium, gotta get some of that Sport Quattro!

I'll never be able to afford one though, there were only 224 made and one went up for auction at Sotherbys. It sold for $401,000.
