This rather crazy looking beast is the Bell Aurens Longnose special. It is based (fairly obviously) on a classic Land Rover, but with extensive chassis and powertrain modifications. The original plan was to build approximately 10 of these monsters with varying engine options including traditional 230 or 280 horsepower V8's, or two V8's bolted together to form a 700 horsepower, ten litre laviathan. In the end however, only one Longnose was built - the 27 litre Rolls-Royce Merlin powered prototype shown above. This monstrous engine can be turbocharged to produce 1,500 bhp with ease. Performance figures are scarce, but expect it to be beyond your average SUV...
The Range Stormer is quick, but this extreme Land Rover could strike fear into many supercars...
