StarLight Garage wants to suggest this road and track car in one, the BMW Z4 GT3 by West Coast Racing.
A car that was used by a Swedish drivers duo Jens Byggmark (driver) and Johan Sjöstedt (owner) for the Team Batsafe during the Gunball event in 2014.
This BMW had is up and down moments but nevertheless it remains an awesome car to drive.
The passion for the Team Betsafe had no limits ... but technology sometimes does!
The 2014 Gunball 3000 route will take participants on a seven day-long cross-continental journey from Miami to Ibiza and as always, the world’s most exclusive supercars will participate in the race, making it difficult for participants to stand out from the crowd. However, professional skier Jens Byggmark has an ace up his sleeve which will get him plenty of exposure throughout the rally.
Specially for this event WestCoast Racing BMW specialists built and prepared this exclusive BMW Z4 in GT3 trim, the donor car was actually an BMW Z4 Coupe from 2009.
It's also the only one in the world built for road and track.
The GT3-style wide body kit and rear wing, carbon fibre front splitters and flared fenders. The interior looks equally as race-ready. All of this aquired directly from BMW Motorsport in the color, Steel Grey Metallic.
The interior looks equally as race-ready car with a carbon fibre steering wheel and competition Sparco race seats and race harness.
The engine used is a R6, petrol, 2979 cm3, single turbo converted-FFTEC (560-610 hp). a 7-speed automatic transmission, rear wheel drive, customized Rotiform rims 20 inch, 13 inch wide rear (365),
11 inches front (285), wheelbase 2576 mm.
Öhlins absorbers adjustable, camber. Brembo brakes six-piston 380mm front, original four rear.
Aim Motorsport steering wheel system and LED display, open/close the exhaust, etc.
Modifications made: line lock system, Side Pipes, Setrab oil cooler, Snapoff wheel, Peltor communication, carbon fiber interior, a stronger differential (Quaife rear LSD) and racing radiators to complete the ultimate configuration.
