The first season of the Bravo Racing Organization in Gran Turismo is set to take place. We will be allowing custom teams for the upcoming Formula car that is coming to GT Sport at the end of July.

Each driver must acquaint themselves with the rules in the spoiler below. Any infraction on the rules can result in penalties and consequences.

1.1 No pitting during SC when the pits are closed.
1.2 Avoid cutting corners or penalties will be forced upon the driver.
1.3 Dive-bombing is strictly prohibited and will result in penalties if it is done in a dangerous way.
1.4 Drive cleanly and do not swerve around the track.
1.5 Brake-checking is not allowed, nor is hitting cones or objects onto the track intentionally.
1.6 If you are being lapped, you will receive a blue flag in game. Common sense is to move out of the way for the faster driver.

2.1 Every driver is to notify the Discord or this thread if they are participating in the upcoming race. If you are on an inactivity notice, please tell us as we may find a reserve.
2.2 You must use the livery of your team, or you will not be allowed to race.
2.3 Please avoid chatting during the race as it may cause a distraction to drivers. If you have a complaint, speak to us after the race has finished.
2.4 If you are very laggy, you may be asked to leave the session.
2.5 Microphone chat will not be allowed to drivers as it has the potential to become a distraction. Only the officials/SC driver may use the mic.

3.1 Black flag will be issued by a steward to a driver who has been disqualified. They will then be asked to exit the race, where they may spectate or quit. If the driver does not exit after he/she is disqualified, they will be kicked from the server.
3.2 Yellow flag hints at upcoming danger, drivers will have to watch for the scene of the incident. No overtaking allowed. If there is a big problem, the Safety Car will be deployed.
-No overtaking under SC.
-Speed limit is 60-80 mph, the leader of the race is the one who controls the pace and must do so appropriately.
-When the official/SC driver says "Green", they will drive into the pit-lane. At this point, the leader will continue controlling the pace, and when they are ready, drive at racing speed so that the race continues normally.
3.3 A red flag stops the race and will likely result in a restart. If the race distance completed is already over 25%, the standings of the race at the point that the red flag was issued will be taken into account. Warm-up will then occur again, where drivers are expected to complete a formation lap in the order of the current race standings.
3.4 Green flag means racing, and clear track conditions.
3.5 Blue flag, as discussed earlier, is issued to a car being lapped. You will see it in-game and possibly through the chat system. You are to let the faster driver through, even if you are in a battle with someone else.
3.6 White flag means to slow down due to a slow-moving or retiring car on the track.

4.1 The following point system will be used:

1st - 22 Points
2nd - 16 Points
3rd - 13 Points
4th - 10 Points
5th - 8 Points
6th - 6 Points
7th - 4 Points
8th - 3 Points
9th - 2 Points
10th - 1 Point

The points count for both the drivers' and constructors' championships.

4.2 You must complete at least 90% of the race distance in order to be classified.
4.3 A race that has finished before the 75% mark will have half-points.

PLANNED FORMAT FOR THE RACE WEEKEND

There will be a maximum 14 spots available in the server on race day, as there will be a spectator and a safety car driver.

During qualifying, each driver will have the chance to set a maximum of 2 qualifying laps. The capacity of the server will be 15 at this time as the SC driver will not be present. Once a driver has set their laps, they will be asked to leave the server to make room for other drivers. After 20 drivers set qualifying lap times, the top 14 will be allowed to race, while the other six will be classified in the race based on their qualifying position from 15th to 20th. It is possible for 1-driver teams to exist in this option.

The top 14 will be the ones remaining in the server, where the host will set the grid order manually based on qualifying.

So I believe that 1985 limits the creativity of people and does not appeal to modern racing enthusiasts. Therefore, we will wait for the new Formula car coming at the end of July update. Then we can have custom teams, numbers, etc. We really didn't lose anything by changing the car as the liveries were made by another user not related to this. Same rules will apply.

Bad news about the car not being available in livery editor. Even though we can change the color to red on the color variation car which does not represent the Silver Arrows anyway. Maybe they will allow it later but for now we will have to figure something out.

Okay, back to the F1500T! Custom teams are allowed (you can use real F1 teams if you wish).

Teams so far are Masterica Racing and Toro Rosso. Another team by mounir5 will be entered, and possibly one by breaknclays.

And now you can also say which engine you would like to use (theyre all the same engine it is just the name).

Engines available:

Ferrari (only accepting up to 3 teams)
Mercedes (only accepting up to 3 teams)
Cosworth
Honda (supplying Toro Rosso)
Renault (only accepting up to 3 teams)
Peugeot
Porsche
BMW
Lamborghini (supplying Masterica)
Toyota
