Hey everyone, hope you're having a fantastic holiday season. Recently I decided to move to PC and sim racing. I tried my best to get a list of parts for a build, but every time I finish, I realize something is not quite right so I often end up doing small tweaks here and there. Being a beginner, I'm trying to be as informed as possible; unfortunately, it seems like a neverending process. My budget is around € 600. Because of this, I've been suggested to go for a Ryzen 3 1200 based build, but I've seen people giving negative reviews about this processor when employed for sim racing titles. I have no problem going for an Intel as long as delivers the performance needed. I'd like to hear your opinion as well as your experiences with this CPU if you played any sim title for some amount of time. Here's the list of parts I put together (with some help), if you have any notes write them down below.
