having done plenty of the in the past, and admittedly having fun doing it I asked myself a question....

are they environmentally friendly?
I mean all that smoke, is it like killing anything?
Is that smoke carsonogenic (sp)?
will it reduce the life of my ps2?

":p

Answers to your questions.....
Are they Environmentally friendly?...yes! anything manly and pure of heart like a burnout cant possible be bad for the environment.

I mean all that smoke, is it like killing anything?...Only a few braincells, but there the boring ones used for sowing and knitting and **** like that..

Is the smoke harmfull...Who cares....Ive always believed if its fun it cant posibly be harmfull...

Will it reduce the life of my ps2?...Probably only the X button.

Wow man you forgot all about power braking using the analogue stick, I need an xport to show off my fancy donought and burnout skills.

ITS EASY, all you have to do is Hold down the handbreak (if RWD) + the gas and than quickly switch to the front break and thn slowly let out the break untill the weels spn and hold there. for FWD just hold the front break ansd then the gas and move to the hand break and the wheels should spin.

You know the smoke from burning rubber ...some rubber particles going up ur nose...just like when someone farts...doodie particles go in your nose...why do u think farts smell?

I like it when I watch my CS replay and on the first turn when I actually race, I don't feel/see any smoke, but on the replay it just pours from the rear tires, and the brakes are glowing going into the hairpin...

I think you should read the question first before you go spouting of ways to do burnouts...Especially when your instructions are wrong!.

am i missing something? Now that i see peoples replies, was ving Being sarcastic when he asked these questions? i thought yes, but as i read peoples replies are not sarcastic...hmm..i thought ving was going for humor...but burnouts in gt3 arent that pretty as the smoke effects kind of suck, i wish they would have used the same Dust effect used in rally courses with the smoke. Then it would be cooler as all you would see is a cloud of smoke and a glowing orange circle (the glowing brake discs) and the front of ur car sticking out of the smoke cloud. Nascar thunder had some good smoke but didnt last as long as real smoke. maybe im just picky about my video-game smoke lol.

hmmm...was what i just described called a brake stand? i get them confused with burnouts, sorry...but still, burnouts and doughnuts would Look better if gt3 had better smoke effects.

Oh yeah, ving, if you were not being sarcastic..im sorry for the sarcasim.

Too right!

Yeah...and get a car like the TVR Speed 12, then put the pedal to the metal.

i am currently trying to master racing on sim tyres........put them on my first car and do the first races over till im good.

I'll also only race on sim tyres if is does show an improved in my times, but in my experience all it does is to make you spin and slide more, which is not ideal obviously.
