Remember, not all cars can handle the HP... The Audi Le Mans Quattro, for instance, is great in the straights, but lack of downforce means any bump at speeds sends you airborne and off the track (especially at Nurb)

I find what you say is opposite for me, ANY car can handle the HP and giving a car alot more has no affect to how it drives but simply how powerful it is.

If you cant handle the power then by all means dont upgrade it but I find that any car can handle at least 1000 hp.
 
You said the sl65 does 996... my one i got very used i restored totally and got 1045 out of it... totally mental car, hehe winning dream car against jag xjr9! XD and nascars have been mentioned, right? But more importantly, what can you do with the gt-r skylines? The many standard r32-r34's weve got... and the nismo s-tune. I think i had 850 from that on gt3. Amazing drift car.
 
I had a Corvette (the premium one) up way past 800bhp but then I race converted it and it dropped to about 650. It's a good car still, but I think maybe the race conversion would be just the same if you did it on a stock car.
 
Volkswagon W12 Nardo Concept '02 can hit bout 820 hp easily with some mods. I'm too cheap to do an engine rebuild but you could probably hit something very nice :D

Sadly the car is bout 1.5m so it cant be traded after 3/3. I was lucky to find one in my UCD the other day :D

Do you have a picture? Or would you be able to trade me that as the one I have is fully broken in at 996 HP 1050 Lb Ft

Those are all lower then what I already wrote down

Veyron 1256 HP, ZR1 RM 905 HP, R8 890 HP, Minolta 1040 HP, Murc SV 897 HP

So true!!! I was drive a 650HP F40 on the ring and was flying 40% of the time lol

My 88CV hits >1000hp.
 
AMG C63 = 838bhp. Looks like a beast with twin exhausts and dropped 30mm. I didn't go for the carbon bonnet or a teatray spoiler, so it's actually quite restrained.

PS, I know it's nowhere near but you can get the samba up to 206bhp and drop it 70mm. Loves corners.
