    Welcome to Casual Racing Mondays!

This is a place where people can spend an evening on the track together without worrying about the more negative aspects of racing against the general public. There are no professional championships here, we simply hop into a private session, pick a car and shoot the breeze for a few hours.

Check the latest posts in this thread for information on upcoming race sessions.

    Event Format:
    • Each week we choose a single Homologated Division or Class to compete in.
    • Lobby opens up at 20.00 UTC
    • Each race will be roughly 5-10 minutes long, and we typically run for around 2-3 hours.
    • People can hop in and hop out as they please, there's no need to stay for the entire evening.

    Event Rules:
    • Clean and respectful racing is the most important thing, we're here to have fun, not to fight :)
    • Headsets are optional but preferred.

    How to Join:
    • Every weekend a Looking for Group (LFG) post is created on Xbox Live for the following Monday.
    • Join the LFG post and you'll get a Party invite when the session begins.
    • Game invites are sent via the Party throughout the session to catch new joiners or players who were disconnected.
    • If you're not in the LFG when the session begins just send an Xbox Live message to @PJTierney to get an invite.
    • If there's space feel free to invite your friends, the more racers we have the better

    upload_2017-12-28_14-31-38.png

    Casual Racing Mondays Club:
    • There is now a Casual Racing Mondays Club on Xbox Live.
    • You can either find it on your console, the Xbox app or through this link on Xbox.com.
    • By being a member of the club you'll have an easy place to find upcoming LFG sessions and updates.

One of the main aims of Casual Racing Mondays is to allow people to race cars online that Turn 10 currently don't have Hoppers or Leagues available for.

Below is a list of the game's Divisions along with which ones we or Turn 10 have been using.

Each week a number of unraced Divisions will go up for voting and one will be chosen for a Monday session. Keep an eye on the thread for the polls.

Thanks PJ. IIRC, you had something similar happening a few weeks ago. I am glad this is back and hopefully I will be able to make a few sessions. I'm looking forward to this.

Interesting to see that no one wants to run the BMW. Well, I have both the CRX and the SL65, so unless a drove of people get the Bimmer, then I am good. Fingers crossed.

You'll be able to use any of the cars in a Division, however I'm not sure if there are any in that particular Division worth driving

If we end up doing the Hot Hatch Genesis I have my car ready. Built it took it into a freeplay race and fell in love with the thing after turn 2.

@PJTierney do you have that Casual Racing Mondays logo available to download as a vinyl group? I might want to integrate it into my personal racing livery.

I haven’t made it into a Forza Vinyl yet, probably won’t for a while but it is something I have thought about doing.

I just find logo creation tedious these days :sly:

Maybe I'll have a go at creating it myself. I have managed to recreated every Vinyl group I needed for my personal livery myself, so one more couldn't hurt.

Tried my hand at making the Casual Racing Mondays Logo as a vinyl Group. Now available for download.

    Nice

There’s a white outline around the circle by the way.

Could you save a few alternate versions?

    • Logo with white CRM text.
    • Logo on its own.
    • Text on its own.

Interesting concept, and gotta be more enjoyable than the public online hoppers.

As a side note - Your OP really makes me want to re-do my Rivals Thread OP :ouch:
I was in so much of a hurry to get it up I never thought to make it pretty

Didn't notice the white outline because I used the top image from the original post with the white background as my reference point. I'll get it updated with the alternate versions up later today.

YAY CRX! From what I recall it's not even all that competitive in its division, but I have a feeling if we were to race Hot Hatches it'd turn into a CRX cup anyways. In any case, I should be game.

    Fair enough :)

Time difference doesn't help much here I guess :/

If you want to host an LFG on Xbox and share it here that's fine by me. Maybe some of the regulars will join :)

Updated the CRM logo with alternate versions. As well as finally re-uploading a bunch of the vinyl groups I made in FH3.

Do you run the stock homologation or can we change it?

I completely forgot that since I have had Christmas and New Year's off, I can totally do this. (I'm assuming somebody raced on Christmas right?)

It looks awesome, I'd be there every week if I could, but count me in for this Monday.

On a side note, anyone wanting/willing to run an additional time slot on the weekends, after 00:00 UTC preferable but not earlier is also possible, I think would be great, I could be there pretty much every week so long as it's Sat-Sun 13:00UTC-0:800UTC (8am EST - 3amEST)((Yep I only sleep 3-5 hours a night on my days off. Worth it :p

The LFG is filling up, so be sure to stick your name down :)

Even if it does fill up I’ll have a look through the club members list when the lobby is open and invite people that are online.

I'd be down for more racing on weekends. Also I know what it is like to only sleep 3-5 hours on my off days. Used to do that when I was working the night shift, 3-5 hour nap in the afternoon and was up all through the night and next morning.
