Moved file to download from google docs
Due to some requests I decided to make a thread containing my version of the used car cycle for the NTSC:NA release.
I have been hosting this on my own site since April 2005 but it might get some more awareness here.
I know this list is not organized as well or anything like Famine's PAL list (which is an amazing list by the way!) but it still contains the important information and I still find it very useful.
Some helpful hints for using the database:
Cell Y1 contains the number of the cycle that you are currently on. If you have just started the game then you are on cycle 1 if you are now on day 701 then you are on cycle 2
The First Day is what you see in the corner of your GT4 screen it is the first day of that week. The Last Day cells are the last day of that week.
The occurrences column means how many times a particular car appears in the entire 100 week cycle.
The arrows at the top of each column are filters that you can use to narrow the list.
For example: Let's say I'm trying to find the 6.2 mile cars. Click on the arrow for mileage and then choose the 6.2 option and you will only see those cars. Now lets say you want to further condense your search to only the second half of the cycle. Click on the arrow above the weeks and go to custom, you will be presented with a window that has four drop down boxes. You want the upper left hand box to be is greater than or equal to and in the upper right hand box type 50 (as there are 100 weeks). Now you only see the 6.2 mile cars that appear in weeks 50 through 100.
Just a note about the version numbers. When the list is completely finished with all of the colors that will be version 2.0. I will be incrementing the 1.0 to a 1.1 when I have completed the first 10 weeks of the cycle. The 1.0.1 means that I am working on the first 10 weeks and have some but not all of the colors done. Each time I upload some more info I will increment that last number (ex. 1.0.2) This way those of you who use this will know right away if you have the most current version (all 3 of you besides me that find this list useful)
So if after reading this you think this will be useful:

And for those of you wondering about what the macro is:
I was bored and thought it would be nice to be able to enter in the current number of days into the game you are and have it calculate the current cycle number so all of the calendar dates and game days match when you are searching for a car. I decided to write a macro for this (just for fun) so if you have macros disabled you will need to change those security settings. If you don't trust macros then you don't have to use it. Just change the cycle manually just like before. I haven't tested the macro on OpenOffice yet or an Excel viewer but like I said the macro is not necessary for using the spreadsheet.
